[Request/Offer] Feedback Thread

I plan on feedbacking as many people as possible this round, it might be nobody, it might be everybody. Your welcome

My own RP will probably be up half a day or less before the deadline. If you want an ignorant and opinionated portion of feedback - and Blade can't get round to you ;) - prop me up in your own portion of feedback.

I'll be posting up my batch of feedback tonight. I have Crock, Zeus and Miko on the list. I'll see if I forgive Bear enough for his comment to give him some later.

Point being, if there's anyone else who wants a piece, let me know now.

I'll try to return the feedback some time soon, probably tomorrow.

Yeah, I just pushed a baby bear through the urethra, so I'm a bit spent. I have read all the RP's, though and will get to you :)

Sure i'll jump on the feedback for feedback train here.

Alright guys, my first RP ever is up, over in the random RP thread.

So basically in this type of RP what I am going for is some D&D adventures and some real world antics, I might divide future RP's done in this style in half like this one, or I might do one that's all D&D other than mentioning an upcoming match (as I can promote WZCW somehow in all of them) or some that are all real world other than dice rolling which will still somehow be incorporated. The real world portions won't all be silly, as seen in the sample RP from the application. He has a serious side. This was mainly meant to introduce characters I plan on using, it won't always be talking segments especially after they reach the ruins. I can use other RP styles too if needed in the future if this won't work or for whatever reason cannot be used.

I'm legitimately rolling a d20 as I'm writing these (the same one from the picture) and I'll adjust as necessary depending on what I roll. I'm not going to just give Theron 19's and 20's on every roll. He's not the type to cheat using a loaded dice.

So if you liked it, let me know. If you didn't, please let me know what you think I should have done different. This is my first experience with this type of role playing, so I would appreciate suggestions or feedback. In fact, I might even green rep you for it. :)

I decided to keep my first RP fairly short, while summarising the main details of the Fallout character. It can be found in the Random RP thread and I do want feedback in order to improve my RP skills. I will green-rep for it of course.

Mine's up. I tried to take the advice I was given last time about cutting down on the characters, and used that to take the story in an entirely different direction than I had originally planned. Feedback is appreciated if it is offered. It just might get you some green rep from me. :)

I liked the banter-focused nature of the RP, and the dialogue was generally pretty sharp, but I'd still say you probably had too many characters. The amount of characters and their fantasy-based names made things a bit jarring. Structurally, I didn't like the amount of spacing you had, but that's clearly just a personal preference/nit pick. All in all, it's a different type of character, so you had a different style of RP. Variety is the spice of life, so I'm in favor of taking things in a different direction. And I thought Neep was pretty funny.

Your writing style is somewhat similar to the way I write, so I'm curious as to what you think of my RP as well. Good luck in the match.

I liked yours. It was a fun read and not difficult to follow. I know parts of mine might be harder to keep up with at times for those who are unfamiliar with D&D. The "sex sells" gimmick should do well and I was laughing at the lines about Drake the rapper. Had you mentioned also he used to be on Degrassi it would have been even funnier. Incorporating your opponents and the match into your promo was a cool move. Maybe we'll get to feud later down the line.

I cut the playable cast down to 5 from 9, so it will definitely be easier on everyone than the original group was. The typical group is a fighter, a thief/rogue, a healer/cleric, and some type of offensive caster. I kept a 5th so the DM can have a character. Looking to carve a niche for each character's direction, and I have back-up plans in mind for the remaining 4, I can confirm they certainly are all alive. Glad you liked Neep. Can't have a cartoony fantasy story without an annoying mascot lol!
