Report regarding late SmackDown rewrite

Coco

Mid-Card Championship Winner
If it's concerning Raw last night, what do we think the chances are that Ziggler and Punk will look great tonight?

If Punk's as in as he is reported to be at the moment and if his feud with Cena is to go until Mania, is there a chance Punk wins the Rumble this year?

More crazy day dreams to come.

Punk's chances of winning the rumble are remote. His feud with Cena doesn't need the title to be a draw or be relavent. Also, I'm not sure how well his hip will handle a long match right now.

Ziggler will look good, but he tends to when he's given a chance to get out and go, which is why he's consistently had good PPV matches since he became IC champion. Also, is it really a shock that Smackdown is getting a hasty rewrite? It's not as if WWE write its episides well in advance and doesn't change them at all.

So are you assuming that Cena wins the title from the Miz at some point?
It strikes me that unless we're in for another round of Cena vs. Miz or Bryan going to Mania as top contender, Miz has no business walking in as champion. I see neither of these things happening so I imagine we'll be hot shotting the belt to someone else at No Way Out once more.

Punk's chances of winning the rumble are remote.
I heard a crazy rumor last year that WWE's not looking for repeat Rumble winners at this point. If there's any truth to that, who better than Punk? Are we assuming Jericho is due for a return? Do we think Sheamus is hotter than Punk right now?

Anyhow, Punk can handle ten minutes of a battle royal a month from now.

Its more than likely going to be Punk, Sheamus, or a random Nexus person, hopefully Barrett...since WWE is in the new generation stage right now. If Sheamus wins, you will place ALL bets on HHH showing up and having full on warfare with Sheamus for a spot to get his revenge on the Pale Warrior up to WM time.

So are you assuming that Cena wins the title from the Miz at some point?

He'll hold it 'till EC I think (probably getting eliminated by Morrison to set up Miz vs Morrison at 'Mania). I don't think he'll drop it to Cena (or Morrison for that matter) because it's unneeded but it's the perfect oppertunity for him to drop it in a fashion that doesn't make him look too weak. No idea who he'll drop it too though. It's too far away to predict things like this.

The Rumble is wide open at this point. Granted we'll probably close a lot of those options in the next 6 weeks.

No, you're just butthurt because I can clearly see that you don't understand how a midcarder being good in the ring is different than a headliner putting someone over.

Moving on.

actually I was talking about your syntax:

"If Punk's as in as he is reported to...."

Thats all I meant but its cool.

Well I hope it's true.

As things stand I have a funny feeling Orton will begin his 'vengeful re-capturing' of the WWE Title by winning the Rumble.

Dear Lord No!

Now who did we have as strong contenders at this point?

Punk, Orton...can't think of anyone from SD?

I think chances of Zigglez/Punk looking good tonight are about 100%......

And Corporate Coco>>>>>>>pre-Corporate Coco. I'm even gonna green rep the OP.

Give in to the dark side coco. Do you really think doing stuff stormtrooper approves of is the right way? Do you need me to do a numbered list of all the things that are wrong with that?

Rumble is never "wide open" in WWE anymore because of the tie to wrestlemania. For all the youth movement talk look at the top of the wrestlemania card this year Taker, Michaels, Cena, Batista, McMahon, Hart, Edge and Jericho. They focus on established guys at wrestlemania and I will be shocked if more than one unestablished guy gets towards the top this year.
