Report - *POSSIBLE* Future Feud For Triple H

Jack-Hammer

YOU WILL RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!!!!
According to the WON, seeds have been planted for a potential feud between Triple H and Seth Rollins later on down the line. The report alleges that, as seen on Raw last Monday, Triple H said he sees the reflection of himself in Rollins. Between that line and Rollins adopting the Pedigree, there is talk of the two WWE Superstars clashing in the future.

If this goes down, the impression I get is sort of a teacher vs. student type of deal in which Rollins' arrogance continue to grow to such a degree that he even begins rubbing Triple H the wrong way. I could see Rollins saying some things that, unintentionally at first, hint he feels he's better than Triple H ever was or that he'll eclipse Triple H one day thanks in part to his guidance with the comments becoming more overt later on down the line.

At the same time, take it for what it's worth given that Meltzer's the same guy who last week said that Destination America has cancelled all TNA programming, has been blasted by TNA officials for shoddy reporting and, to my knowledge, hasn't acknowledged his mistake or taken responsibility for it.

In all honesty I'd love to see this...IF AND ONLY IF...it's what they use to usher in Rollins' face turn. It is painfully clear this guy is the future of the WWE and as good as he is as a heel I have a feeling he will be much better and have a much more wide open move set as a face. Some of you who have followed him in Indies can comment further on that...

I don't think it would be a good move at all if it turned into a Heel vs Heel type deal. Pretty useless other than getting Seth a big win over a big name.

Ugh so we have the top two heels on a potential collision course. Should be interesting, but where does that leave the top faces you have to wonder. HHH has already put Rollins over, once when he reformed Evolution and they took on the Shield, and then when Rollins became part of the Authority.

I thought Reigns and HHH were going to face off as well, so that might not happen now. Oh well, the Authority just keeps grabbing their unfair share of the spotlight and everyone else gets pushed further back.

As for Meltzer. TNA had to come out and say something, if they didn't it would have looked like he was telling the truth. Mind you what they did say really didn't go that far in clearing things up as DA didn't come out behind them in support either. That's still up in the air.

Rather than going on a spiel about HHH's ego (which is always fun), or talking yet again about how stale the authority is, I will say this makes sense.

If (when) Seth turns baby face, putting him against Show or Kane would be a disaster. HHH can still go in the ring, so I have no issue with it.

HHH should do all the losing in the feud, no questions asked.

This feud would be logical for Seth's narrative, I'm just deathly afraid of him not coming out on top.

I agree that Seth's arrogance will start rubbing Trips the wrong way as it's done with Kane. Cue the "teacher vs. student" feud with, hopefully, a return of the curb stomp! :D

I missed Seth's run in NXT, so I've only known him to be a heel for the most part. But I've seen poster's calling him a "natural born face", which also scares me. As a face, yes, he can wow the crowd with his move set, but I doubt we'd see him back in the main event scene. This is just me guessing because I've never seen an individual face run, but he seems as if he would be a pretty one dimensional (basic) baby face. Then again I guess a lot of that will depend on how he's repackaged.

Nevertheless, I'm patiently looking forward to seeing these two feud.

In my verdict, no one needs to turn face for this feud. I personally think that this match should put Triple H out of the TV for at least a while so he can go back and focus on the office work or the NXT. Seth should get the upper hand over Triple H at some point and he probably should take over the Authority as its supreme leader and recruits new fresh members to it and let them feud with Big Show and Kane.

Triple H really should lay down for Seth Rollins if this feud's gonna really happen. Things had changed a lot between Wrestlemania 30 and 31. He looked old and slow in the ring against Sting. There's no point in Triple H winning over the next Undisputed Future.

Cheers!!

I'd rather Triple H turn face if this is to happen. While still a long shot, Triple H has occasionally teased being reasonable. He did mostly take Kane's side- despite Kane being the more sympathetic of him and Rollins, he did talk down Rollins and JJ Security- who were being pricks. He also shook hands with Sting.

Rollins has only gotten a lot worse as a villain. At first, he was mostly pragmatic and conceited. But then he began a habit of trying to end careers, such as Orton and Ambrose and even tried to cripple- if not KILL- Edge. Of all the villains, from Lesnar to Rusev, Rollins has been presented as the most despicable. Now he's acting like a dick to his own teammates. The only admirable trait I've seen from Rollins since the Shield fell apart was him expressing concern for JJ Security, like when he tried to save them from Rollins. And then at the next PPV, he forced them to face Ambrose on top of the cage...

Rollins is too much of a heel to turn face anytime soon. Triple H is bad, but I'd say Stephanie is the real monster behind the Authority. But even she probably wouldn't go as far as Rollins has. Plus, I think Rollins is in danger of being a rather bland good guy. Before the Shield broke up, everyone was sure that Rollins would struggle the most. He lacks the look and charisma of Reigns and the standout characterization of Ambrose. Being awesome in the ring often translates to being awesome as talent enhancement (Ziggler), but he connected very effectively as a heel. Triple H can play both roles. As a face within the shield, Rollins tended to be the heart...or the damsel in distress. So while it will happen and hopefully it will be awesome, Rollins has too much momentum as a heel right now.

At Wrestlemania 31 there is a potential match with The Rock and Ronda Rousey, why would he turn face? I can't buy this if I'm honest.

Triple H v Reigns or Ambrose is far more believable and far more intriguing. It also fits the story especially when Brock comes back. There are only so many guys for the top guys to work with and the WWE have more babyfaces then heels.

I'm not saying Rollins v HHH wouldn't be good, it's just that it doesn't make a lot sense compared to the other options. Indeed, I'd much rather see Triple H wrestling Reigns or Ambrose plus Survivor Series and then something at Mania. That's all I need and the WWE need at this stage.

Yes, that's logical and given the way we've seen WWE do things in the past, it seems almost inevitable that they have to stop this Authority continual storyline somewhere along the way, so why not blast it to pieces by having the Boss square off against the Top Employee?

After all, it's a unique situation when the "top suit" of the company is also a renowned wrestler in his own right. We don't know how keen Paul Levesque is about performing in the ring at his age, yet his "best for business" attitude seems to pervade his real life as well as his on-air character; the guy will get in the ring when the situation calls for it......yet he appears seldom enough that it's still a treat to watch him do it.

And yes, when two such sizable egos start clashing, there's a physical confrontation coming. I just hope that when they do it, they do it special with a scheme carefully laid out to get maximum benefit from it.......and I hope that when it ends, Seth Rollins stock will be higher than ever....and he'll cash it in as a good guy.

Rollins as a future rival at some point down the road....I can buy that.
But in the short term...here's an idea,They've been teasing Kane turning on Authority for some time, will he or won't he??...Let's say he does and it leads to huge tag match at SummerSlam...
HHH and Rollins against Kane and of all people....UNDERTAKER...one last time for The Brothers of Destruction....Kane can ride off into the sunset so to say and retire,
If what we're being led to believe is true that he wants to wind it down.
I know it probably isn't original but it could be one hell of a send off for the Big Red Machine.

That would great. Rollins could be that next big face whenever the split happens. I'm sure a Rollins vs. HHH match would be good too.

I assume HHH would be the one to turn face if this were to happen, especially if the scenario pointed out by OP comes to fruition. I don't know how a Rollins turn would work, unless The Authority lays a beating on him to the point where the fans turn him themselves.

If I'm being honest with myself, I would rather see a heel Seth and babyface HHH than vice versa. Rollins is so good as a heel, and I'd hate to see him lose that dimension at this point in his career. I've been waiting for a HHH face turn for a while now... it seems like he's been heel forever. It would be great if Rollins were to put a face HHH out of action for a few months, leading to something even bigger. What that would be, I have no clue, but putting H out of action would be a great starting point to a bigger role for Seth Rollins.
