Report: Major Star On Tonight's Raw?

YOU WILL RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!!!!
According to a report originating at PWInsider.com, Sting is in Des Moines, Iowa and will be appearing live during tonight's episode of Raw to hype the match between himself & Triple H.

Since we're only 2 weeks from WrestleMania, WWE is going to have to put some heavy emphasis on the top matches for this year's show. While the novelty of seeing Sting wrestle for the first time in WWE is obviously something WWE is banking on to help the match draw, Sting needs to appear tonight and next week, possibly for a final confrontation with Triple H, in order to drive the match home.

So he should be, the lazy cunt. He's not been seen since Fast Lane, I can't be the only one who's lost interest.

Even old man Sting should get the pulse racing. This is his fist WWE match after all. As it stands, Mania should open with HHH/Sting. It's that inconsequential.

As much as it sucks, tonight's Raw should be an hour build of Sting, an hour build of Taker, and an hour build of the Title match. I mean, for fucks' sake, out of those three matches, Sting and HHH have had one single meeting, Lesnar and Reigns have had zero meetings, and Undertaker hasn't even been on fucking TV.

The Undertaker has to show up, point blank. Sting HAS to talk, point blank. Reigns and Lesnar HAVE to get physical tonight, and that's that. Anything less than that is the WWE shitting on their own Wrestlemania.

Agree 100%, I think that it is DIFFICULT 3 of the main events for Wrestlemania are with part timers who don't show up prior to Wrestlemania to build on their Feud. Sting, Brock & Undertaker being part timers I think is bad for business.

Of the 3 big names, if anyone I could see Sting tonight on Raw but I doubt we will see Taker or Brock.

I'm holding out for Lesnar, since he walked out 3 weeks ago, there was rumor that he owed WWE that date back so that he wasn't in breach. Also, since they're in Iowa, that's basically his back yard. I know that the Undertaker isn't going to show, which is just stupid. But I'm hoping that Sting isn't the only parttimer to show up.

I agree! Doing promos can only do so much. The only thing I can say positive about the lack of Taker/Brock/Sting on the show, it gives more TV time on free TV for the IC title, US title, tag team title and Rollins/Orton build up.

It won't be Taker, reports have already said they're keeping him off TV till the big night. And that scares the shit out of me. Either I'm going to be stunned at how bad he looks, or thrilled he can make it down the ramp. I'm hoping it's the latter.

Sting should be there and he should finally open up and say something, this HHH "I'm out to get you because of a company that folded years ago" is getting rather tiring. He's done a great job of it, but Sting needs to speak up and be heard.

Lesnar I would love to see just come down to the ring and destroy everyone in sight, including JBL and the rest of the announce team. My God do they deserve it. But a battle with Reigns will suffice and if Reigns happens to get F-5'd on top of a few behind the microphone, then it's a bonus.

I don't know what to think. I am happy that he is being included in tonight's Raw. It makes me hope to remember to set my DVR. My big question is how come it took so long to find out? I would assume WWE would promote the hell out of this. I know Raw and WM isn't as important as the WWE App or Total Divas (sarcasm) but I would think at this point the Sting surprise showings would turn in to over promoted saturation fests.

This turn of events makes me think WWE pony'd up some extra scratch to get Sting to show up.

Regardless, let's hope whatever he does will be entertaining and get fans more emotionally invested in Mania.

I loved it. Thankfully the crowd did the occasion the justice it deserved. Sting looks in epic shape, fingers crossed the match shocks people for all the right reasons. Sting & Orton side-by-side was a cool sight.

Yes, it really was. Although I thought the ol' Stinger looked kind of portly, I still loved it when seeing he could still move around & deliver his signature stuff as well as ever.

Also thought it was good that he and Orton barely acknowledged each other; there would be no sense in trying to depict them as long lost friends. Sure, Sting was there in the first place because of Triple H, which needs no more explanation, but watching the two guys left in the ring embracing would have been ridiculous, so it's good it didn't happen.

One other thought: We've been writing on this forum about how bad the build-up to WM31 has been....and rightfully so. Yet, we're 12 days away and if WWE really gets cranking, I believe they can get most everyone excited about the whole thing again. The Sting segment is a good example of this, because after seeing it, I can't wait to watch the guy perform at the big event.

I tell you what, no matter how many times I tell myself that I don't care that Sting is in the WWE, I mark like a kid when that crow hits and Sting is in there.

Stinger Splash, Death Drop, RKO, that's a fun way to end out the night.

Now just get fucking Reigns and Lesnar together. As good as Heyman is, I'm getting REALLY fucking tired of hearing him say the same things every Monday at the 9pm hour for 15 minutes.
