Remember Dial-Up?

Good times. Having to go through AOL to play Diablo 1 online.

I remember when I was 11, my friend (Lives a good hour away) and I tried to play together using "That LAN setting." Not only was his IP address apparently "0.0.0.0", he says he SWORE he saw a Rogue fighting skellies.

O yea those were the days when you would click on the net and go make a sandwich while you waited for it to connect. I do miss that wierd noise it would make when it was dialing what the hell were those sounds supposed to be?

At my mom's house, she had Dial up AND a Windows 95. I'd start a like, 2 MB download and go to bed. 3 KB transfer rate <3

To those of you raised in the age of high speed internet, I can only tell you how lucky you are to not have to attempt to fap off in the age of dial up. Don't even get me started about how weird "online sex" used to be before we all had cams and the bandwidth to use them...

I remember people bragging about how they had a 56kbs modem.

If I ever had to switch back, I think I'd rather just not have internet.
