Regarding Bryan Danielson's theme music history

I always thought The Offspring's "Self-Esteem" was the best entrance song for him (yes... even better than The Final Countdown).

However, I was just watching an old indy match of his, and do you know what this motherfucker actually came to the ring to? See for yourself...

This was during Danielson's Bob Backlund stage, too, so it fit him to an absolute T. It felt like I was watching Kevin Arnold walk to the ring, lol.

I would have much preferred Danielson use this over that Ride of the Valkyries crap he's currently using. Such a great fucking song.

I never cared for his theme either. the one you posted its eh.

I quiet like Ride of the Valkyries. You can chant his name to it. Plus, who doesn't love some Wagner?

I really like him using Ride Of The Valkyries. It's different, it suits him perfectly and is a nice little tune. I'm sure that was what Wagner was hoping for when he composed it - someone on an internet forum calling his grand masterpiece a "nice little tune".

 

[The Doctor]

Plus his student, Sara Del Rey, uses it, which is awesome.

Only problem is that it really needs a big hook at the beginning, like a cymbal crash or orchestra hit. Also he needs an elaborate entrance, like Flair.

 

[The Bearded One]

I think he should come out to some sort of modernized remix of "The Final Countdown." I'm not sure what it would sound like, but that's what I'd like.
