Redemption Discussion: Eurasian Title Match

I'm Literally Just Here for WZCW

It was only a few weeks ago that Mikey Stormrage & James Howard were teaming together, united under one common goal and fighting alongside each other as best friends. Now... the game has changed, with no help to the devious Chris K.O who has almost roped this situation into a neat, little package.

Stormrage seemingly disappeared from sight apart from wrestling a few matches for WZCW, growing many concerns from James Howard. After searching his home and trying numerous times to contact him, Stormrage has been distant from life around him and has transformed into a new man. During this time, Eurasian champion Chris K.O saw this emotional distraction of Howard as an opportunity, making sure Howard's wrestling career became rather difficult. Howard has had to split his focus in half with one eye watching for K.O and the other spent searching for Stormrage.

These elements will come to a head at Redemption as K.O is putting the title on the line against both members of Strikeforce. Has K.O created the perfect opportunity to defend his title and hold onto it for a few more weeks or has he dug his grave too early, allowing the emotional toll between Stormrage & Howard to win the Eurasian title?

Eh, not overly the whole feud surrounding this one. I like Stormrage a lot, but this is certainly KO's title to lose and I think he'll be able to handle himself here.

Stormrage has weighted a long time to go pound for pound for some gold. He's hungry for this win and he is salivating at the mouth for this match. I can't see Stormrage not just eating through this match and coming out on top.

KO has this one in the bag. To me, Mikey being in the match is random. I get the stuff with Howard but not a big fan of him being added to the match honestly.

That said Mikey could end up getting the win if he pulls out his best effort.

Loving Chris KO ever since the build-up to KC, but Stormrage has a lot more to gain. Maybe even Howard vs Mikey for the title?

The smart money would be on KO, though...

Really tough here. All 3 guys are amazing RP'ers when they have their day, and I'm sure the winner will be deserving.

Chris K.O has the momentum, with his only loss to a worthy competitor in S.H.I.T. And he's of course coming off a big win over Titus at KC too. So in that regard, he has the advantage over Howard and Stormrage.

For what Howard lacks in momentum, he gains in potential for a MAJOR revenge RP, considering his losses to Ricky, Hunter and finally Chris himself all involved Chris. This is the peak, and I know Shotaro can answer to the challenge, as his RP vs TSA at KC proved.

And then we have Stormrage. Good god, I LOVE this recent character change of his, and I love Yaz's new RP style. It's nothing short of thought-provoking and unique. I'm really interested to see what role Stormrage plays in this match and if he wins, just who he pins in the end.

Overall, it's definitely a 3 horse race. It's tough to back a winner here, but I'm going with Stormrage, just because I think Yaz's new style, coupled with a great RP which he's capable of, will be enough to snatch the match from Kermit and Shotaro's grasp. A great RP won't be enough be enough to beat a great RP with a controlled, unique twist to it.

Howard hasn't won a match since before Kingdom Come. He was handed this match and ever since then he's been waiting for this show. I have no doubt Shotaro knows exactly what he is going to write. It's probably like when Phoenix had his World Title RP written for months and was just waiting for his title shot. Howard didn't have to beat anyone to get this match and he's probably the only person who could lose to both Runn and Hunter, yet still get a title match.

Stormrage is one of the luckiest people in the fed at the moment. He got lucky that Sam Smith was dropped out of the tournament and then he got lucky that Red Skull was taken out as well. If Skull doesn't go out then it's Stormrage vs. Cooper and I clearly would have won. I don't know when beating Dustin Hunter became the road to gaining a match for the number two title in the fed.

I would have more faith in K.O. if he had won his PPV matches more convincingly than he has recently. I still think Titus won both matches with K.O. and he's very lucky to have won. With that said, this is his match to lose. Both the challengers have not done anything worth mentioning this cycle in terms of victories. Howard should have been given someone easier to beat if he was supposed to be taken seriously as a threat.

K.O. wins but we will have to sit through another cycle of this feud.

Mikey & Howard have been building the entire cycle to something big whilst Chris K.O's performances mean he's on a wrecking streak and considering the type of RP's Kermit can come up with, it's going to be hard to stop the momentum. However, as I said, the opponents are building to something and if that climax hits this match, it's going to be a tough match to call. I know all three guys can bust out something great but unless the challengers can convert, Chris K.O is my only logical choice.

Prediction: Chris K.O

Is that what losing is called these days? I've been building to something big for ages then. :lmao:

Hard to bet against KO here, Mikey and Howard may be "setting up something big" but Chris takes it through dastardly means of course.

I doubt this is the last of the angle as well.

If Yaz doesn't pull out a great RP here, then I will be left wondering wtf he was doing this entire cycle. Thing is, IMO, even if he does pull of something great... I still think this is Kermit's match to lose. I don't really care who wins as long as Howard & Stormrage go on to feud with each other and Chris KO can go on and have a program with someone else.

I'm picking Chris.

Hard to bet against the champ because this seems to be another program that is just forced. The Strikeforce feud is money and doesnt need a title. I dont know whether I can buy these two as a threat to KO until after they feud.

The champion didnt need to be inserted into this. Titus should have had a rematch because the KC match should have been a draw.
