Recommend a specific episode of a podcast

I have dipped in and out of podcasts from Austin, JR and Cobana from time to time but I was wondering if there are any specific episodes people would recommend? A good interview JR did, Austin and Flair's one, some of Tazz's stuff or anything at all really?

Ryback on Talk Is Jericho is pretty interesting. Consider it an elaborated version of that promo he cut on the last RAW of 2014, talking about his career and positive outlook. You don't expect a guy like Ryback to be as eloquent as he is.

I don't know what your personal taste is in wrestlers or content or style, so it's hard to really give you a recommendation based on such a broad brush request.

But my suggestions, based on my own tastes:

The Steve Austin Show

• Vampiro (two-parter) — episodes 246 and 248 (this guys life was fucking nuts)

Talk is Jericho

• "Mr. Belding" Dennis Haskins — episode 164 (a really hilarious interview you'd probably never expect)
• Corey Taylor — episode 158, I think
• Adult Film Star Asa Akira — episode 79 (again, a hilarious interview you'd probably never really expect on a podcast like this)

The Ross Report

• Mike Tenay (two-parter) — episodes 72 and 73

The Nerdist

• Mick Foley — don't know the episode, but it was in February of 2013.

Austin with Vader

Austin with Dave Meltzer (just for how dysfunctional that conversation is)

Roddy Piper with Vince Russo

Cabana with Cliff Compton the Nigeria episode.
Cabana with Punk 2&3
Cabana with Saraya Knight
Cabana with William Regal parts 1&2
Cabana with MVP
Cabana with Buddy Landel
Cabana with Johnny Saint

The Austin podcast with Vampiro was incredible. Dude has had quite an interesting life.

The two of them sat down again in the past few months, only this time, they're drinking. Pretty good, though beware, there are Lucha Underground season 3 spoilers.

I forgot this one was in my queue, and just popped up. The Stone Cold Show, episode with Wade Keller reviewing Takeover Brooklyn. Worth listening just for their take on Revival vs DIY. I had a bit of a grin of validation, having loved the match, and hearing it dissected in an appreciative way. Terrific insight.

Ric Flair's podcast with Steve Mongo McMichael was hilarious. The funniest one I've heard yet. It's on YouTube, not his podcast site because it's from his old show.

The Austin podcast with Vampiro was incredible. Dude has had quite an interesting life.

In his first book, Chris Jericho calls Vampiro out for making up a bunch of the stories he tells. Now obviously it's he said vs. he said, but some examples include:

Vampiro saying he was picked out of the crowd and made into a wrestler while on vacation in Mexico. Jericho says he's talked to wrestlers who wrestled with Vampiro in Mexico for years before he claims this happened.

Vampiro saying he played pro hockey in a certain town. Jericho grew up there and followed the team for years. As soon as he said this to Vampiro when they met, Vampiro corrected himself by saying it was actually another team far away from Jericho's town.

Obviously I have no idea if what Jericho is saying is true, but I'd be more apt to believe that a lot of what Vampiro is saying is made up as it's a bit hard to buy sometimes.

I listened to the Vampiro podcast and he seemed to be in the same league as Buff Bagwell and Vince Russo, which means completely full of shit. Do I know that's the case? No, but he sounded like he has no problem making shit up as he goes.

If you can find any of the Talk'n Shop episodes when Gallows & Anderson were still in Japan, they're comedy gold, especially those with "Uncle Alan" (AJ Styles)... for a guy who's usually very stoic and business like, he's surprisingly hilarious.

I don't listen to too many podcasts myself, but I've listened to AoW a few times. Aside from the obvious CM Punk ones, the one I found myself enjoying most was Ep 150 with Steen. I dont know what it is, but I can listen to that man go on about zoos for hours.
