Rebirth of The European Championship

The European Championship was basically nothing in my opinion. The only championship moment I remember was HBK mockingly dropping the title to HHH in almost a Fingerpoke of Doom scenario. WWE already has eight titles and there is no need to add another one. Americans have won the European Title so Europeans can win the U.S. Title.

Anyways... the European title would serve no purpose in the WWE today. The fact that we have 2 world titles already shows how diluted and unimportant the belts are these days. We then have 3 mid card titles which get ****ed out when and wherever, 2 women titles and ironically, the only belts that should by default, have some prestige, the tag titles, are being wasted by nothing feuds. The european title was phased out because it became meaningless with the roster split. I think what's more important is for the WWE to bring more pride to their current titles:

WWE belt: Lets have a decent, long programme over this belt
WHC belt: Let Edge have a long reign and carry Smackdown. 9 world titles mean nothing if the majority of them were rushed
US title: Needs to have a good feud and to be defended
IC belt: WWE doing something good with having to exciting, former world champs feud over it
ECW belt: meh
Tag titles: The belts are unified, so lets have one tag team belt, The Colons carrying the world & WWE tag belts attached to eachother looks tacky
Divas title: meh
WWE Womens Title: Much like the tag titles, it would be cool if this was defended on all shows

Regal isn't going to beat MVP for the US title. He's going to be steamrolled. MVP's someone that they want to start pushing to actually matter, while Regal has proven time and time again that he's not trustworthy and doesn't deserve the push.

Have you forgotten Regal's IC title win THIS YEAR? Also, he won KING OF THE RING. Wow, I couldn't imagine what the WWE would do if he 'was' trustworthy.

The Euro title was often a joke. Remember HBK's promo before his HIAC against Taker? He was like, "thank god I won't be putting my prestigious European title on the line....phew!"

It was ace when Angle was Eurocontinental champion though
