Occasional Pre-Show
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...the-rocks-historical-return-to-the-wwe#page/1
After a segmented 7 year hiatus, due to The Rock's appearances (via satellite/live), he has finally returned as a major part of the company. Now with the announced WM XXVIII main event, he's wrestling AGAIN. We do not know the frequency leading up to the grandest stage of them all, but we know it will happen.
With nothing left to prove, after doing it all, both in the WWE and Hollywood, he's come back home w/o missing a step, it's like Vince played Mom and kept Rock's room locked, tidy, and set up just the way he left it when he left.
With his epic and historic return; with all of the ridiculous speculation of him "turning his back on the WWE"; with all of the doubt of a legitimate return, my question is this...
Why the lack of gratitude? When that announcement shot through the arena in Atlanta on Monday, there wasn't an EXPLOSION of cheers like I expected. It was more like a spattered amount of cheers, quite a few boos, and there just wasn't that much fire from the crowd.
Are people that selfish? People spent years whining/begging for a Rock/Cena match and then unexpectedly The Rock grants that wish and people just sort of shrug at it like..."eh"
What is the reason for this?
