Re - Booking - Extreme Rules 2010

As we are less then 2 weeks away from this years Extreme Rules PPV I thought to my self about the past shows and see how they could've been bigger and better.

So the first ER show that I thought to re-book was the first ER - Extreme Rules 2010:

The show was held in the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore infront of 9,124 pepole on April 25 , 2010.

The Card was as follows:

Dark:Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler {09:36}.

1.The Hart Dynsaty {David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd} {w/Natalya} defeated ShowMiz {The Big Show and The Miz} , John Morrison and R-Truth . The World's Strongest Tag Team {MVP and Mark Henry} in a Gauntlet match.if ShoMiz will lose the winning team will earn a Unified WWE Tag Team Championship match.{05:18}

2.Cm Punk {w/Luke Gallows and Serena} defeated Rey Mysterio in a Hair match.Had Cm Punk lost his head would been shaved by Mysterio.{15:57}

3.JTG defeated Shad Gaspard in a Strap match {04:41}.

4.Jack Swagger {C} defeated Randy Orton in an Extreme Rules match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.{13:59}.

5.Sheamus defeated Triple H in a Street Fight {15:46}.

6.Beth Pheonix defeated Michelle McCool {c} {w/Layla and Vickie Guerrero} in an Extreme Makeover match to win the WWE Women's Championship {06:32}.

7.Edge defeated Chris Jericho in a Steel Cage match {19:59}.

8.John Cena {C} defeated Batista in a Last Man Standing match to retain the WWE Championship {24:34}.


So I want to here from you:
- Did you liked the show? What you liked and disliked the most?
- How would you have been booking this show?
- Did the show was really extreme as it should be?

Remember in your booking you cannot use superstars/divas who were not avaliable in that time {end of April 2010} - for example you cannot book HBK in this event.You can change title matches only if the challenger could've been in the respective title picture in that time.

If I was going to rebook Extreme Rules 2010 I wouldn't change much. My card would be:

8) John Cena vs. Batista - Last Man Standing Match For The WWE Championship, would just change the finish. Cena taping Batista's feet together whilst his legs were wrapped around the ring post has never sat well with me, it's a heel tactic. Cena could have easily AA'd him through the an announce table for the victory.

7) Edge vs. Chris Jericho - Steel Cage Match - No alterations here

6) Michelle McCool vs. Beth Phoenix- Now a Hardcore Match for the Women's Championship, Beth still goes over

5) Triple H vs. Sheamus - Street Fight, same as before Sheamus goes over

4) Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton - Stays as is

3) Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk - Stays as is

2) Big Show & The Miz vs. The Hart Dynasty - Tornado Tag Team match for the Unified Tag titles, Hart Dynasty win the titles

1) Drew McIntyre vs. Matt Hardy - Ladder Match For The Intercontinental Championship. New match to the card. McIntyre had been beating the living hell out of Hardy for weeks. Hardy would come close to winning the title but Drew would retain

My Extreme Rules 2010:
- Fatal Four Way for the I.C. Title: Drew McIntyre vs. Matt Hardy vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston - Matt Hardy wins for a short transitional title reign.
- 3 on 1 Handicap Match for the Womens Championship: Michelle McCool, Layla & Vickie Guerrero vs. Beth Phoenix - Beth wins the title & looks even more dominant beating 3 opponents.
- Four Corners Tornado Tag Team Match for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships: ShowMiz vs. The Hart Dynasty vs. John Morrison & R-Truth vs. Mark Henry & Evan Bourne - The Hart Dynasty captures the tag titles on PPV.
- Street Fight: JTG vs. Shad - JTG wins because somehow he will be employed for years to come.
- Last Man Standing: Triple H vs. Sheamus - HHH puts over Sheamus after a brutal brawl.
- Ladder Match: Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk with Luke Gallows & Serena - CM Punk wins in what could have been an absolute classic ladder match.
- Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship: John Cena vs. Batista - Batista regains the WWE Title before they finish their feud at the next PPV.
-Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton - Edge finally gets his redemption & wins the world title... for about 2 min. before Swagger cashes in & closes the PPV as the NEW World Champion.

This was an ok ppv tbh but the problem iv always had with extreme rules is that it's not extreme enough even though they're in a PG era they should at least make an exception so the changes I'd make are:

1) Drew Mlcyntyre (C) Vs Kofi Kingston Vs Dolph Ziggler vs Matt Hardy
Intercontinetal Title Ladder Match. This could e a great opener and I'd have Drew retaining the title.

2) ShowMiz (C) Vs Hart Dynasty Vs Worlds Strongest Tag Team Vs Morrison & Truth
World Tag Titles Tables Elimination Match. Have Hart Dynasty go over by putting Miz through a table to win.

3) Shad Vs JTG
Strap Match. Make it more brutal and have Shad send a message to his former friend and look to me a monster.

4) Rey Mysterio Vs Cm Punk
Mask Vs Hair Match. Make it the same outcome.

5) Lay-Cool (C) Vs Beth Pheonix
Handicap Women's Title Match.

6) John Cena Vs Batista
Last Man Standing Match. Make this without the title and have Batista go over still to continue the feud.

7) Chris Jericho (C) Vs Edge Vs Randy Ortan
World Title Triple Threat Street Fight Match. Have edge go over and then have Swagger come out and cash in and become the champ.

8) Triple HHH (C) Vs Sheamus
Wwe Title Hell in A Cell Match. This could be a great main event to close the show make it barbaric and brutal and extreme and make sheamus go over but win the title in the process
