but the experience of Skyrim dialogue would be drastically improved with either surround sound or headphones. It's hard as fuck to place voices when people are talking behind you and shit.

I agree. Surround sound probably would be beneficial and make it feel more realistic and give it more life. Hell, it would also be nice if they doubled the number of voice actors they have on staff. I swear to God, it sounds like they have the same 5 or 6 people doing all of the voices. Surround sound would be a plus, but I think hiring more voice actors would be even better honestly. Hopefully in the next one they'll get more voice actors, it'd really help the audio quality, as would SS.

Well the next ones going to be an MMO, so I wouldn't hold your breath for improved voice acting unless they go the SW:TOR route, which while novel started to really annoy me after a while.
