I actually reacted slightly different.

I opened my Christmas present to discover a Playstation. I was like "Ninten.. what the fuck is this shit?"

I got an N-64 for my birthday that followed. The passion had left me. Then I refound the passion because I discovered W.C.W. v. The World (or something like that) on 64.

My parents never bought me any game consoles, I was stuck with the old NES (which I paid for myself after about five fucking years a saving) up until about a year after Playstation came out, then they allowed me to buy that
 
I remember that christmas when I got the N64... I was estatic. My brother and sister cried... So my mom had to explain that "Santa couldn't afford a lot of other gifts"... shortly before admiting "the truth"... Bitch...

I can't say that. I was still an early teen (I think lol) at the time of N-64/PS1 coming out.. my Parents bought both for me.. but that was all I got for Christmas/Birthday respectively.

The first game system I bought was a PS2.. I was working at the time, saved up and bought that along with the first SD game for PS2 and Final Fantasy X.

I bought Erin a Gamecube with Zelda games because thats practically all she plays, other than Tetris. :lmao:

Erin bought my xbox for me, along with most of the games I own for it via a Valentine's gift. Finally, I guess you could say collectively Erin & I bought the xbox 360 with tax money.
 
I wasn't ecstatic when I got the N64 because I knew we would get it. They even asked me questions about it. God, do your own research or it becomes painfully obvious that we'll get it. And Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is my all time favorite game. I wrote an essay about it in a high school honors English class to get a 96.
