Well guys thats it! I'm a fan of metal and rock but I like to stay in a set group of what I like so if you have a favorite that you would like to be my band of the week speek up and ill see if there up to snuff. I'll take 1 request a week if I have a band and put it as the fans choice, and if I dont have a band and I like it and no one else comes up with a band thats up to par your band with your name at the top will be the top band of the week!

I think we can all agree the state of rap/hip-hop is pretty bad right now. However, there are some artists out there that show that in the giant puddle of crap, rap music that's actually good can still be produced.

Lupe Fiasco's new album "The Cool" is very good... it's all I've listened to for about the last month. Here's the first single off of it, "Superstar". I definitely recommend picking it up/getting your hands on it.

Talib Kweli is an artist who has finally become mainstream, which is great, because he definitely deserves to be successful. This song, "Hostile Gospel" is off his newest album, Eardrum, which is very solid, but a bit too long.
