R-Truth Debuts on Smackdown!

Frank the Frowner

Getting Noticed By Management
Was there anything more cringe inducing than watching Ron Killings dance for a crowd that had absolutely no reaction?

I think I heard crickets chirping.

I really don't see what all the hype is with this guy, he just doesn't seem like anything special to me, I keep hearing how he's supposed to be so great but really have yet to see it, he just seems overrated IMO, I find his dancing to be extremely annoying

Why did WWE get the urge to rehire this guy?

He's 36 years old, and doesn't have quite the look the WWE is usually looking for. Better than Braden Harris, (or was it Chris Walker?) for sure though lol.

Let's give him time though to see how the fans react to him. At least he had more fan support than Chris Ha....err...Braden Walker. Also, he's been in TNA for a while so I think the fans forgot about him, but in retrospect, this weeks' edition of Smackdown, well the fans weren't really into the show real much cheering wise towards the midcard guys. I'd give him time.

I've always felt that they should give a black wrestler the gimmick of Samuel L. Jackson. Booker T sort of did it, but he rarely does anymore. I think that R-Truth could do well with a Sam Jackson gimmick. Just have him go around shouting out random shit. It worked for Kennedy. I'd be entertained as hell, and he'd get over for sure.

Yes they deserve to die, and I hope they burn in hell!!

COuldn't have put it any better. How this guy is a two time TNA champion is beyond me. What does he do that 5 other guys couldnt? Sing his own music?

Technically he's never been a TNA champion, he's a two time NWA champion, he won those belts back when TNA was so small they needed a partnership with the NWA to look more legit, and unless something has changed in the last couple months, I think Adam Pearce holds that title now, so umm yeah...

While everyone is dogging R-Truth, I think he has a lot of potential IMO. Yeah, his name is pretty shitty but, we can work around that. R-Truth could be very good is gave the right push. I'm not sure if I could see him as the next WWE Champion or anything, not yet at least. He has a good looking arsenal of attacks so far and he has a decent gimmick that suits him okay. Maybe over time he will get better. All I'm saying is before you dog him down, give him a little time to get his feel back into the business.

I have to say it.....what the hell were you guys talking about when you said he's amazing? Haha. I'll give you this: Killings has the appearance of someone who could be a solid WWE superstar. He's built, he's big enough, and he's got a semi-unique look (in an "I've seen it everywhere already, but nobody else is using it right now" way).

Outside of that, though......what is he offering? Slow pace, bugged out eyes, walking instead of running to the ropes, and generic moveset (so far at least) that only had ONE tweak during it, and he used it in two different moves so far. Is there a point to spinning after you hit an axe kick? Nope. The corkscrew shoulder-block...or clothesline...or...punch to the face....or whatever that thing was....meh, its nothing too great. I've seen it once already. It won't impress me a second time.

Zero reaction from the crowd. Dykstra was able to get the crowd to boo him, if not just to give them something to do. Killings looked like a total jackass with his chicken-head bobbing.

I'm hoping that this guy just had a bad debut and that he's better than this, because if he isn't, then he may very well be sharing an umbrella with "Braden Walker" lol.

And that's the truth.
