Questions for Spam Moderator Hopeful Coco

Pay Per Ghost

What they f*ck happened in the thread section here
I have previously stated that I fall in the humble minority who have chosen not to vote but I'm reconsidering this as I do think a spam mod is needed.

Now I must ask Coco, who is the ONLY spam mod candidate many a questions.

Two for now:

1. If I experience a joyous occasion and wish to share it here, yet it is 'shitted' upon by others, will you under pressure close that thread?

2. What spam threads shall be deemed trash-worthy?

1) So long as no rules are broken, why should I?

2) If a thread solicits a barrage of homophobia or racism outside of the Bar, advertises outside of the Bar, etc, it will be deleted or trashed.

When can I expect to see improvement in his posting? I'm not a patient man.

Coco, I think this is a good thread idea so you should rep Paperghost to encourage him further

This may be used by Dagger supporters as bribing.

Anyway, I have loads more and any Crock or Dagger marks should come here and ask civil questions, doesn't matter if Coco called your boy names, keep this thread civil.

1. Coco, do you think you're too cliquey? Could it discourage a potentially good poster from approaching you for help?

2. Do you think WZF is too cliquey?

1) Am I too cliquey? No. I've got a few people whose opinions I hold in higher regard than everyone else's, but I don't see how that makes me different than most other major names on here. People might think that makes me appear unapproachable, but that's on them. As I said made clear in another thread, my PM box is always open.

2) No. I reckon WrestleZone isn't cliquey enough. This is a discussion forum. In real life, you have people who you prefer to discuss things with over anyone else. I think we have too many hacks on here who are more concerned with recording every solitary thought they have in a post than having a laid back discussion with people who they genuinely like. Some level of cliqueyness is the cure. Too much can obviously be a problem, but I'm not suggesting we go to that extreme either.

Maybe we want better than that.

You must understand, since spam has so less of rules your position will be most scrutinized. People will jump like sharks if they see you playing favorites.

Some of the Dagger supporters has accused you of being someone who just 'trolls' and cannot be taken seriously. They have spoken on the lines of almost being picked on by you and SNS for not having spelled something right or whatever. The newbies have felt bullied.

Do you think there is some factual basis behind such accusations? How do you propose on behaving with the accusers if you become a spam mod?

The issue isn't me. It's that some people weren't hugged enough as children.

Spam has one less rule. There's no more potential for favouritism here than in any other mod position.

I don't bully newbies. I put foolish blowhards in their place. Check your work. Make sure you carried the one. Some of these blowhards are WZ veterans. Some are newbies. But I don't single people out because of the date they joined.

These accusations only hold weight if you think the "bullying" perpetrated by Slyfox, IC25, xfearbefore, and D-Man somehow impedes their ability to moderate fairly. I don't think that's the case and as such I won't carry myself any different as a moderator. Unlike the other candidates, what you see with me is what you get.

Maybe you have alluded to this already, but are there any recent spam threads that have made you feel that a spam mod is THE absolute need of the hour?

The tearful pleas of several mods certainly leads me to believe my crusade is just, as they've found a number of examples of prejudiced language that necessitate action that other mods are too busy to take. And I would certainly merge several of the Dagger-related threads in the election section as they all follow one discussion originating from JGlass' original post on what Dagger shouldn't be a mod. Eliminating redundancy is as much a part of being a mod as anything. Just ask Nate, NorCal, and Sam.

To do as I say. Which is should be fun. I say some wacky stuff.

It will keep me occupied until I'm called upon to fulfil my destiny and run for Prime Minister.

Right, I've no idea what Scott Steiner said, as usual. Rohan or whatever his name is fapping to some sort of imgainary position that Coco's promised him and...

I only point out spelling mistakes if they are made in posts that are insulting another poster's intelligence.

I have seen that, how can we forget you single handedly handing Doug Crashin his ass and tongue in that god-awful Stupid Thread Police. Because that's exactly what they were.

To Coco,

1. Do you think you have been too aggressive in your rebuttals and accusations towards Dagger?

2. If you're asked to switch from Spam mod to moderating another section, which one would it be and why?

1) The possibility exists but it doesn't negate my ability to be a great mod. It might ruffle some feathers among the electorate, but I set out from day one not to disingenuously butter things up. That's Crock's job.

2) I have no interest in moderating anything else. It's spam or nothing.
