Ok now everybody just hold on for just one minute here. I know what everyone's going to say "That's just like putting Macho Man in nWo, and I don't want to see a rip off."

Well, true it would be like putting Savage in nWo (which he was) it would also be a great advantage and here's why.

Over the past years we've seen Jay Lethal do a lot of things from becoming a 3 time X-Division Champion to becoming a tag team champion, however, we have yet to see Jay Lethal take on the heel roll. So why not put him with the invading nWo?

Jay Lethal is a guy who could take on the heel roll and be the X-Division star of TNA's nWo. Not to mention, putting Lethal with people like Pac and Nash (who can still go) will give him a lot of exposure and build him up for a Global Championship push.

Does anyone else believe that this would work? Or am I just blowing chunks like Creed when Amazing Red spiked him into the mat with that hurricanrana.

Besides the fact I don't want the nWo anywhere near TNA, I'll play along.

Would Lethal work in the nWo? Sure. He's a young guy, which they would desperately need, and he's loved by the fans, so the heel turn would shock everyone. The X Division has needed heels for a while, so why not turn someone?

Enough of this devil's advocate crap. No one wants to see Lethal turn. What's the problem with him being a face for the duration of his career? He's universally loved (even if his gimmick isn't), and he puts on fairly entertaining matches when given the chance to perform. I don't see what's to gain by adding to a group that shouldn't be there anyway.

Jay Lethal in the nwo style program just wouldn't fit well. I think Jay Lethal is a tremendous talent, and too over to be apart of the nwo gig. It would be like Samoa Joe when he went to main event mafia. It just didn't fit, Samoa Joe. They need to concentrate the nWO gig on getting over the mid-cards, and not worry about a possible nwo take over. Lethal is better off going after the x-division title or global, and drop the macho man persona. It was fun at first, but now i think most generally think it takes away from his wrestling image.

No, Lethal is a good talent on his own. He doesn't need a stable holding him back, let alone a stable of veterans who probably wouldn't put him over. Lethal needs to stay out of this storyline and the nWo need to leave TNA. Everyone may hate the gimmick he has, but everyone loves him in general, therefore he should stay a face and not go heel.

Sure! Put a couple of young guys in what I will now refer to as "The Band" since they are not the nWo. Jay Lethal would be awesome with Hall, Nash, and Waltman. Lethal has the charisma to roll with those guys and he would be a dynamite heel. Plus, when it gets old he can turn on them, kick all their old asses, and get even more over than he already is. While we're at it, let's throw Homicide in with "The Band" also. His gimmick fits in perfectly with the whole gang mentality of "The Band." He could serve as the Konnan of "The Band". Infused with a couple of fresh faces and "The Band" could stick and be a force for awhile. Why not?

i think jay lethal joining the tna version of nwo would be 2 sweet. Have him do a program where he gets kicked out though and then this would lead to creating a beef with Hogan. Have Lethal hating on Hogan and rapping and stuff. And then bring the Macho Man back to kick both their asses. I'd also really like to see the Tna version of the nwo, with lethal and savage, kick the moronic ass of that columnist mark madden for being the most biased moron of morons on this site. Disco Inferno argued circles around him for years and made that guy look like a chump. The guy will do anything in his power to bring down the people who made fun of him and brought him down for years, all old WCW guys, and that's why he only likes mid carders with no charisma or any drawing power, minus the only two megastars who are obviously nice to him: Flair and Nash..he likes mid carders so much cause he was always a mid card kind of commentator/columnist who couldn't move up the ranks because of Bischoff and Hogan..i think there needs to be some threads on here about how dumb and subjective his columns, and how the guy should drop the whole writing gig and become Ric Flair's personal fluffer

I think some people may be missing the point of this "nWo" or "the band" invasion. I truly believe there will be no "nWo" or "the band.'' I think Hall and Waltman will serve as an example Hogan will look to set, and that example will be pointing toward exactly what he said; the old guys will not run the show. I believe he brought in Waltman and Hall so he can, sooner than later, tell them to get lost. There will be no big reunion, and I don't believe the stable will grow, but instead they will be thrown out, most likely by Hogan. Hogan is not joining up with them, as you may have noticed by his reaction to them stomping out Foley. While he may not care about Foley, he is NOT with Hall and Waltman, but actually opposed to them and what they stand for. Hogan is there to put over young guys (storyline wise, we all know Hogan is the most self centered man ever born) and show these older guys like Hall and Waltman the door. So adding people to the nWo or the Band is probably not an option, at least that's how I see it. Hogan is trying to prove to a large audience that he is NOT re-creating WCW and he has changed (he hasn't). And yes, I do believe he is doing this all for personal gain and could care less about TNA. But I do believe he is worried about his legacy to some extent, and going a complete different route in TNA as opposed to WCW might help him do that.

i'm a huge fan of Jay Lethal, but the idea of Waltman and Hall taking up more airtime while they stagger and slur their words just isn't worth it. Bringing back the NWo or having a similar angle will just be a disaster and painful to watch.

He's a great wrestler and character, but i wouldn't want him associating himself with a bunch of old drunks and druggies who probably won't even show up part of the time their booked.

As far as NWO goes, I pray it doesnt happen.

As far as Jay in a stable goes: Place him in Jarrett's "Mountain" stable. It's go good against Hogan's "Monolith" he is looking to form made up of all the old school wrestlers (who really aren't that good anymore.)

I remember about 10 years ago on WCW's internet show WCW live that douche bag Mark Madden was literally singing the praises of Vince Russo as he was coming in from WWE. That dude is such a brown-nosing kiss ass it's just pathetic.

First of all, like others have already said, I don't want to see the NWO come back. Jay Lethal doesn't need this. I already think he needs to drop the Macho Man gimmick, and if this were to happen, it would most likely kill his career. Jay Lethal has already took on this Macho Man gimmick long enough, and if he were to join a TNA version of the NWO, then people wouldn't want to see him do anything else. What, I mean by that is, unless he were to have a monster heel turn, then people would just want to see him as The Macho Man, and to be honest, if he keeps up with this gimmick much longer, I don't think it'll be possible for him to do anything else.

Lethal should have Hulk Hogan be a mentor to him and thats it. Lethal should then take on Hall, Pac, Nash, Foley and Nasty Boys in his Legends Tournament. He should win all them matches then take down Hulk Hogan himself, putting him extremely over as a main eventer.

I for one am a huge fan of Jay Lethal, and one would think that almost any kind of storyline or program would be great for him. However no matter the case you can't have someone who is getting beat by legends every month be in a group without some kind of logical explanation, which I can't think of. Not only that just like everyone else I'm not a fan of a new NWO being in TNA.
