No not at all. I did live on the east coast for many years. I've seen it all.
Broski is a SoCal term that was originally used to describe a certain kind of guy. They dressed like the generic Cali dude in baggy dickies pants, random motocross shirts, giant ugly skateboarding shoes. They drove giant lifted trucks that were meant for off road but are always super clean with no mud or dirt on them. They're hard to describe without actually seeing them.
It means nothing now though. You guys don't look like the guys everyone thinks of when they think of Jersey, which could be a good thing.
