Possible D-Generation X Reunion?

From what the local promos are going (Philly promo of Survivor Series, HHH&HBK vs Orton&Kennedy), DX reunion looks like a lock, the only concern I have is that whether they would make it a stable again or is just those guys pranking around.

And if that's only me, I don't care, but I liked it when HHH went out there at No Mercy and ruined Orton's party. I like it even better when HBK kicked Orton's teeth down his throat three straight weeks

I hope not, it it was boring when they did it last year, and it will be boring if they do it again this year. DX should never have been brought back, both guys are too old, and DX as a whole just doent do it for me anymore. Just ask yourself apart from the comedy value, what does DX actualy bring to 1) The WWE. and 2) Their careers. The answer is very little, WWE doesnt need them to join together because it doesnt open up any new feuds, it almost certainly won't have an effect on ratings, the two of them as a tag-team doesnt work, the only thing they really will do is get a bit of fan reaction and sell a few more shirts. And as for their careers, as both of them are established main eventers it does sod all, except tie them down to a specific group. Brining back DX would be pointless in my opinion.

this is a long shot i know but it could work... have dx come back as heels... only way i think it would work...especially if the talks of rey comin to raw are true... that solves the heel problem and it also adds new opponents for dx to face off against. then you can build a stable with orton as champ kennedy as ic champ and hbk hhh tag champs.. they would dominate raw and cause mayhem... like i said it's a long shot but doesn't it make sense?

I agree that DX is too old. I think Triple H should concentrate on the title, and possibly take HBK out on the way, and Triple H and Orton should have a long feud, I love seeing them fight.

here's my thing with the DX reunion. i wouldn't mind seeing it, however, i would much rather see triple h or michaels make a run for the title. we both know that shawn michaels is at his best when he is a heel, so why not let triple h make a title run against orton as a face, then maybe somewhere down the road have them meet up again and be a faction (or a possible stable with new members?) as heels?

I love D-X because it offers some light hearted content to RAW using big name stars.

But I am getting rather sick of the people in the IWC you can't win with.

If they are main eventers, then HHH/HBK are holding back the young talent and don't need more limelight.

But if they are D-X and doing their own thing against Vince or mid-carders or tag teams... then its a boring stupid waste of RAW space. Come on, make up your mind.

As for their individual runs, great... I just don't want to see HHH and HBK turn on each other and feud... ever... again. It was dug into the GROUND, into the damned GROUND before. Never again. PLEASE.

Rated Rko vs DX would be hella awesome to bad that Edge isn't back yet but making his return soon

As far as I can see Edge was an awesome heel and so was orton so the 4 of them doing anything in ring would be freakin killer for ratings and maybe a nice buyout for survivor series

Id like to see DX back but not for longterm cause they are way to old and need to let the newblood take over

Well it appears that DX is back "for one week only" I doubt that will wind up being the case, espically with the reaction that those guys got last night. Idon't mind DX at all. Hell I love em, I think their promos are so stupid that they're funny. Also it takes HHH out of the title picture. Without DX HHH probably would have been feuding with Cena for the whole damn year. I'm glad to see em back, I just wish that they were feuding with Rated RKO rather then RKO and Umanga

How is trips going to fued with Cena...

I would love to see DX come back if they get a few younger members as well not just Trips and HBK it would be a great way to get the younger talent pushed in

I wasn't talking about now. I was talking about back when DX first reunited...

I agree though that DX could potentially help out some of the younger guys. The only problem with that is I really can't see anyone on the Raw roster that would really fit into DX... I'm just hoping that DX does not overshadow the WWE championship like they seemed to do the first time they got back togather. I can't even remember who Cena was feuding with during all of that... Umaga mabey idk?

God I hope this IS NOT the case, but you made me think of something... Ok so DX is back "for one week only" so now lets look at Survivor Series... RKO vs HBK... New Hart Foundation interferes in the match screwing HBK, HBK getting his ass kicked, HHH runs down to the ring with the shovel to make the save. Boom DX vs New Hart Foundation. It feels like if this were to happen, that it'd be like going back into the past. Since SS is in Montreal this year I would put NOTHING by WWE. Though DX may be temporarly back for now... I really don't think this is the last we'll see em

I am not looking forward to them teaming together at all. I was a fan of DX back in the day but the last run was not that good. For that reason I do not mind a one off return but I am not over the moon about it.

I do not think a DX tag team for Raw this week will do much for the ratings at all. A lot of members just do not get DX is finished and long gone. If they ever return they will only hurt the name of DX.

I thought last years reunion was good I enjoyed it alot the fueds, the storylines ect. but I dont think there should be another DX reunuin it wasnt planned as good as last years with the Shawn Michaels Mr Mcmahon fued going on for some time, then Triple H got involved and well you know how the story goes. I also liked the other stables that came out of DX reuniting Rated RKO the Spirit squad (they were fun to see get killed every week) I liked the stunts DX pulled like smashing coaches head through a wall and then spraying DX on his butt, the BBQ was also good but I just dont want to see the same stuff again so I really dont want to see a DX Reunuin right now

Who are you to say that it wouldn't work. D-X will never get old even if they were ric flairs age. Triple H has never looked better and i'm pretty sure that shawn michaels would shave off all that hobo hair. It's all about what the fans want. I bet if wwe did a poll at least 60 percent of the fans would want d-x to be reunited. It would be awesome if they got all the d-x members back together and then brought the nwo back into the picture. Now that would be true wwe entertainment.

I normally do not post , just look at the threads, but someone mentioned that Survivor Series was in Montreal, Well it was, but they changed locations!
I was there 10 years ago, as I do live in Montreal, I had Shawn & Bret fighting for the gold right on my lap!

I don't see what you guys have against DX i mean both men are very talanted and have a lot of potental even this late in their careers. People say the last DX didnt go well but can you honestly say that they were that great back then. I like th idea of DX cause they basiclly defined in my books what is a stable today. Some people say that it was the four horsemen but thats history. One other thing is there really any GOOD teams in the WWE these days......

Has anyone else thought this whole dx one night reunion might turn into one of the members turning on the other and turning that one heel. It would be totally unexpected. They need another heel with y2j coming back and would shock the hell out of eveyone, they would all be lloking forward to seeing the hyped up return and they would be leaving in awe after hbk gives some sweet chin music to hhh, or hhh hits hbk with the pedigree.

i dont like the idea of another reunion it gets old and its just another excuse for the wwe to make new shirts. However, tap-out, knowing how desperate mcmahon is sometimes this is a strong possibility and would not be a bad idea when y2j comes back, if he gets here soon enough

I tell you what , really enjoyed the opening segment of Raw. And If DX did return , Id love to see the stable out there as it was on Monday. The odd bunch. Could be great entertainment. But I wouldn't like to see them back on their own. But with Hornswaggle , Bogeyman and Khali (As face could work really well actually) put the big heels in their place.
