Right, I agree with your morality.
However, this is larger than a moral issue. When infinitely regressed, it is ethical when based on Aristotle's chief argument that happiness is the greatest ethic. However, it then becomes a psychological and sociological issue very quickly. The amount of trauma that could take place from such a lifestyle is catastrophic. The ability for the porn star to be intimate and enjoy sex very likely dwindles significantly, if not totally. Life becomes plastic. Sure, it's a quick fix for money for some, but a lot of it very well could be that the girl has emotional issues where she has had a great deal of hurt in the past, likely from her relationship with her father, where being in the porn industry makes her feel desired and wanted. For the male, I'm not totally sure. Perhaps he was not nurtured well as a child, and he has made up for it by being promiscuous and seeking attention through unhealthy physicality.
What porn does is that it eliminates the "person" and reduces them to this animated mannequin that fulfills one's every desire. It keeps the viewer in control. Obviously, the main attraction to this kind of activity is that it is easy to gain "affection," even though it is not real. I mean, why try to form a relationship with a human being if you can be satisfied by "someone" who doesn't require effort on your behalf in order to give you affection?
I have a penis and testicles, so I am aware of the visual stimulation that is a primary contributor in the arousal of a male, but the other day I thought of something: every single person that I find myself visually reducing to a piece of plastic has a story. She has a daddy, maybe a boyfriend or husband, and she has feelings. She also has a grandpa. Now, she may not have some of those people in her life, but she still has a story. Why? Because she is a person. A person who has a soul...someone with likes, dislikes, interests, fears, ambitions, quirks, and faults. Every magazine shot, every Playboy picture, and every model on the runway is hiding behind makeup and/or photoshop. That means that when all of that stuff is stripped away, you can see a person. So, the girl that I like from school or work might be just as pretty as those girls. Especially if I look at her on the inside, too.
I want to be able to look at each and every girl that I come into contact with knowing that she is special to someone. And if that person knew that I was reducing her to plastic with my eyes, I would feel terrible for degrading his gem. A woman should be cherished.
Wow, that's just my 2 cents.
