Has anyone heard of these guys? I remembered that they were on a compilation CD that I got but I lent the CD to a mate. But I went onto Youtube and had a listen to a few of their songs. And I must say that I am impressed as these guys have a good Prog Rock feel to them and the movement to a more metal styling has opened up more to them in recent years. I am tempted to go find their entire Discography and but it. There videos are also creative and fun despite the lyrical content being on the darker side. But the lyrics are well thought out and are well written while also portraying the story that they are trying to put in. Steven Wilson the frontman for these guys has a Lennonesque feel about him in his look, combining in his work as producer with Opeth as well and I am leaning to wonder why Porcupine Tree aren't big?
