I know in the attitude era ANYTHING went. From dumping "feces" on people, to live sex scenes in the ring, to giving birth to a han. But were unfortunately in the PG era now. And WWE is pushing the lines little by little. From these how far wars too far for PG?

Rusev and Cena. During their feud it was a heated battle between Cena and USA and Rusev Russia/Bulgaria. A lot of country downgrading at a time when in real life Obama (USA) AND Putin Russia) were having a real heated exchange.

Colter and Del Rio. Since returning they united the US belt making it the Mexamerica title and sewing the American and Mexican flags together. As well as you "stupid Americans" promos from them. All this at a time when Trump and the President ial race bringing to life immigration laws and his wall.

Paige and Charlotte. Their last couple of times has kinda went hardcore using tables, steel steps, outside barriers and more.

The Nexus. When Nexus debuted it was the last segment on Raw. They attacked referees, announcers, tiime keepers and tearing the ring and outside to pieces. Choking someone out with his tie and more.

Paige and Charlotte bring up Reid, Charlottes dead brother. With Paige saying Reid must not have had much fight in him. All without Ric knowing.

None of these.

Something else?

Your answer isn't on the poll. Everyone is talking about Brad Maddock being let go this week, because of a promo he cut in a dark match the other night.

He called someone or a group of people "cocky pricks" and that has according to people in the know, cost him his job. So I guess you can do pretty much whatever is on your list and still be employed, but don't swear in a WWE ring. So I would say swearing in front of a live crowd is pushing it too far.

It was Brad Maddox, not John Cena. They were looking for a reason to cut him loose. Though it was BS, it gave Trips and Co. the reason to eliminate someone they really had no plans for. Maddox will get picked up by GFW or Paragon. He is a jack of all trades, and is useful in a lot of roles.

As for what went too far: Nothing on that list. Maybe the recent storyline with Rusev and Dolph came close to pushing the envelope. But, it came nowhere near close to sniffing, never mind crossing, the line.

You can't swear yes, until and unless you're the teddy bear of Vince K McMahon or Paul HHH Levesque or Kevin Dunn.

Seriously I don't mind Brad Maddox getting released, future awaits his talents somewhere else, but the reason behind that is just asinine. Haven't any other superstars used the swear word in the ring? Hell Brad Maddox does use it in a dark event!

I'm not sure if using abusive words is the real reason why he was released, but if it's the verity of the context, then seriously it's utterly stupid.

I'm getting so sick of hearing how something is too far for PG and then people always compare it to the Attitude Era. Did you know the Attitude Era it self was PG too, at first anyways. The Attitude Era started off PG. Even before the Attitude Era Austin was still doing his antics and swearing like crazy. The same fans who wine about the product being too cheesy and wanting the Attitude Era back be the main ones whining when WWE does something Attitude Era like.

My answer to your question is: NOTHING IS!!! Its Pro Wrestling for Christ sakes. A program designed for people to "beat people up." How can something be too far for kids eyes in that. Kids today they're selves know the show isn't real now because WWE try to hard to turn it into a live cartoon rather than realistic storylines. That's partly due to fans who whine about controversy. Kids already cuss and fight and see they're parents smoke and drink. So why is it wrong for the wrestlers they see on TV be more edgy.

P.S. this isn't directed at the OP but in general

I completely agree with the reason of release of Brad Maddox from WWE is too far...... i think going off-script while you dont have Vince's or his Co's back; is too far

The only thing that's too far for PG is sex or swearing. None of your suggestions even relate to PG Ratings. Most of these havent gone far enough, I absolutely want every single story to go well beyond the "I WANT TO BEAT YOU UP" or "I want your belt"
