Beep Bop Boop
I'm bored and this might be interesting.

I recently moved to a different position in my office where I'm not longer at the front desk and have the ability to listen to music or podcasts all day. Due to that, I go through the shows much more quickly and find myself looking at days in terms of what podcasts I can download that morning or, usually, when I get home. Here's mine:

Monday: Fangraphs Audio
Tuesday: The Steve Austin Show
Wednesday: Nothing
Thursday: Steve Austin Show Unleashed, Art of Wrestling, Cheap Heat (sometimes comes out on Wednesday or Friday instead)
Friday: Nothing

I do check JR and Jericho's podcasts on Wednesday and Friday (for Jericho) to see if there's a guest I'm interested in, but I'm not too big of a fan of either one. Jericho isn't a very good interviewer and JR only seems interested in hating the Internet and putting himself over.

Ridiculous I say. Jericho is a great interviewer, not a great guy creating the first fifteen minutes though. JR is a bit of an idiot, since his target are the "internet smarks" and always asks the same questions - Undertaker Streak and CM Punk, it annoys me... They grow on you while they're talking though.

I also like Cornette's Experience from time to time. The guy is a good talker/entertainer. His rant on Angus T. Jones (the kid from two and a half man) killed me.

I don't listen to Jericho or JR anymore either. Tried 'em, didn't like 'em. The Steve Austin show and some of Live Audio Wrestling's output are really the only shows I listen to with any regularity anymore.

Today's SAS with Eric Bischoff was one of the more boring interviews on the show so far. Hopefully part 2 is better.

The more I listen to JR the more painfully clear it becomes that JR is stuck in the past regarding his views on the business, I've also grown tired of hearing him repeat the same issues he has with teh current state of wrestling over & over & over every damn week, I get it you think closed fists should be illegal, more rules enforced to heel can break them, time limits brought back, TNA should be focus on being something different that "WWE Lite", & ROH should light their ring better & tell their wrestlers to slow down. Enough, try talking about something different in your show open sometime you crusty old turd.

I love Jericho's, even when he has guests I'm not fond of I still find his show entertaining.

Other Podcasts I listen too

  • Smodcast w/Kevin Smith & Scott Mosier
  • SAS
  • SAS Unleashed
  • iFanboy- Pick of the week
  • Startalk w/ Neil deGrasse Tyson
  • Kevin & Bean Show
  • Mike & Maria In Wonderland (until Maria annoys me with her ranting about stupid shit)
  • What Say You? w/ Q & Sal from Impractical Jokers
  • Hollywood Babble-On w/Kevin Smith & Ralph Garman
  • Tell 'em Steve-Dave w/Bry, Walt, & Q
  • Fatman on Batman w/Kevin Smith
  • Art of Wrestling w/ Colt Cabana

Other podcast I check out occasionally depending on the guest include

  • WTF w/ Marc Maron
  • Nerdist
  • Joe Rogan Experience

I don't really have a schedule, I listen to about 5-6 pods a day at work so I just kinda go down the list, & when I get to them I get to them.

He talks over his guests way too much for my liking. He was really bad about it during the Rey Mysterio ones. I know it's more difficult doing phone interviews, but it gets on my nerves.

I also like Cornette's Experience from time to time. The guy is a good talker/entertainer. His rant on Angus T. Jones (the kid from two and a half man) killed me.

I'm sure his rants are really entertaining, but after what he did to ROH, I don't know if I want to listen to his opinions on wrestling.

Yep. He also clearly reads off notes, which is fine, but every 3rd point or so he's so proud of himself that he repeats it five times.

Mike & Maria In Wonderland (until Maria annoys me with her ranting about stupid shit)

I think I know your answer based on the parentheses, but is that worth checking out? This is totally misogynistic, but we're on a wrestling forum: I don't really find too much value in Maria unless I'm looking at her.

Mike & Maria's pod is ok, it'd be better if Maria would shut up & let Bennett speak, or at least finish what he's saying. She seems to think she's smarter than what she actually is, & when she's starts ranting about whatever it is she rants about her voice gets high pitchy & squeaky & is just physically painful to listen to. Bennett is much more enjoyable to listen to & his rants are far more entertaining & actually make sense. They also have a lot of ROH talent on the show which is fun to listen too. For me it's a pretty hit or miss podcast.

The Jericho ones with Chavo Guerrero and even with Bret Hart and Edge were really great shows. SAS levels of good, probably better. I agree with whomever said that Steve Austin w/ Bischoff was pretty boring. JR needs to ask better questions, just that, but it's still enjoyable to listen to some interviews he does.

I did enjoy the Edge ones quite a bit, but that's more of a compliment for Edge than Jericho. I watched Edge's DVD recently along with listening to a few interviews and discovered I really like Adam Copeland.

I narrowed mine down to-
Steve Austin Show
Steve Austin Show Unleashed
Art of Wrestling
Completely Unnecessary Podcast

I do listen to Jericho's depending on the guest. Still subscribed though.

I tried JR's but he's weird and it's boring.
