• Xenforo Cloud has scheduled an upgrade to XenForo version 2.2.16. This will take place on or shortly after the following date and time: Jul 05, 2024 at 05:00 PM (PT) There shouldn't be any downtime, as it's just a maintenance release. More info here

Pick 8 PPV's you'd keep around.

Money for nothin, chicks for free
Right now, not including Network specials, there's approximately 24 PPV's a year. That's pretty jammed with monthly shows and its barely enough time to build any story to give the shows any meaning. Compared to when they had 6-8 PPV's only.

I can't see why both Raw and SD with this split can't share PPV's every 1 and a 1/2 months with good builds towards each PPV show. Let a little anticipation build up for once
.

Here would be my PPV schedule...

April - Wrestlemania

Late May- Clash of the Champions

July - Summerslam

September- The Survivor Series: Raw vs Smackdown

Late October- Halloween Havoc

December- The Royal Rumble

Late January- Wrestle War: (Including The Elimination Chamber Match)

There. 7 PPV's that be built towards. Notice the nice two month long gap to build Wrestlemania with.

Edit: I picked 7. Sue me.

Assuming all 8 of these are dual-branded....

1) January - Royal Rumble

2) April - Wrestlemania

3) June - King Of The Ring

4) July - Money In The Bank

5) August - Summerslam

6) September - Night Of Champions

7) November - Survivor Series

8) December - TLC

1. Royal Rumble
2. No Way Out
3. Wrestlemania
4. Extreme Rules
5. The Great American Bash
6. Summerslam
7. Night of Champions (or Halloween Havoc because it's an awesome theme)
8. Survivor Series

1. Royal Rumble
2. No Way Out
3. Wrestlemania
4. Backlash
5. King of the Ring
6. Summerslam
7. Halloween Havoc
8. Survivor Series

  1. Royal Rumble- Jan.
  2. Night of Champions- Feb.
  3. WrestleMania- Mar./Apr.
  4. King Of The Ring- May/June
  5. Great American Bash-July
  6. SummerSlam-Aug.
  7. Halloween Havoc-Oct.
  8. Survivor Series-Nov.

24 really is way too many Pay Per Views / Network specials for one year. I think 8 is a lot, but I think 4 is perfect. To meet in the middle, let's go with 6 WWE PPVs / Network specials...and 6 NXT Takeovers a year.

January- Royal Rumble

March - WrestleMania
Every match is Championship Title match.

May - King Of The Ring
Every match is a KOTR tournament match. 3 rounds, 7 matches, 8 SuperStars

July - SummerSlam
Featuring the Money In The Bank ladder match.

September - Clash Of Champions
Every match is a Champion of the WWE Universe vs. a Champion from promotions outside the WWE Universe.

November- Survivor Series
Every match is a traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination match, with every Champion as the Captain of their respective teams.

All of the these are dual-branded. I took out all the ones after a Big 4 PPV.

January - Royal Rumble
March - WrestleMania
May - Extreme Rules
June - Money in the Bank
August - SummerSlam
September - Night of Champions
October - Halloween Havoc
November - Survivor Series

Just 1 PPV a month is fine by me

JAN- Royal Rumble
FEB- No Way Out
MAR- Wrestlemania
APR- Backlash
MAY- Extreme Rules
JUN- King of the Ring
JUL- Great American Bash
AUG-SummerSlam
SEP- Clash of the Champions
OCT- Halloween Havoc
NOV- Survivor Series
DEC- Starrcade

Although I do miss the names Judgement Day, No Mercy, Unforgiven and Fully Loaded
