Pendulum are a band that I have been into for a while and I have never recalled them being brought up on this forum, which is a major travesty in my opinion. They are a drum and bass band originally from Australia, who have found a lot of success on the British festival scene. The first time I ever saw them was at T In The Park a long time ago and they have done nothing but get better and bigger as the time goes by. They are not a particularly successful band but people generally associate them with epic beats and everyone seems to call them the "mighty Pendulum" for some reason. Which is all the more surprising because they have had very little mainstream success in the UK.
That being said, they put on one hell of a performance and since seeing them twice in the one year, I have been a fan of the band. As I said, I saw them at T In The Park a few years ago and then I saw them at a more secluded gig when they were supporting. Although they have never really taken off before this, they seem to have a very loyal fanbase and their songs can be ultimately brilliant at times. The have continually progressed and their songs have just got bigger and bigger. They are just about to release their new album called "Immersion" and it looks as though it is going to be their most successful one to date. The song "Watercolour" has already charted at number 4 in the UK singles chart and could possibly climb some more. If you are into drum and bass, or even if you aren't, give them a try.
