Pendragon

The ending was pretty bad. The entire last book, actually. But I loved the rest. I've been reading them for years.

I actually loved the last book, I thought it was epic. But the cosmicy shit was stupid, I just put it out of my mind when the other stuff was going on.

I didn't think he was good at action scenes and shit. I could never really get into the battles, so it felt boring to me.

What do you mean?

Edit:Oh, the fight? Ya, the whole final battle was stupid. He just like picked him up and showed him to the people? And then they like rebelled or something... I don't even know.

Oh, I meant the fist fight and them jumping back and forth from Dark Halla and Third Earth. It was confusing.

I think they should have just had one "Super" Territory, or the last of a dying race on an eleventh Territory and he was giving out his "throne", or knowledge, to someone and Saint Dane was trying to impress him. The whole "proving something to someone thing" made no sense with that ending.

Oh ok. I forgot about that final fist fight. It seemed like MacHale wrote the books, then on the 9th was like "oh shit, how am I gonna end this?", since the last book was COMPLETELY different then the rest. And things like Saint Dane saying "I made a promise" in book 6... what the hell was he talking about? And the fact that Bobby kept talking about being in love with Loor, but they had hardly any interaction in the last 4 books.

The last book did seem like a completely different story. They also seemed to humanize Saint Dane in the 9th book, or maybe it was the 8th, when he was talking to Pendragon and showed regret and what not. I don't think DJ knew where he wanted to take the story till he was finally done with it. I still think an all seeing omnipresent architect would have been better then "Everything".

They're actually really good, but they seem like little kid books so I doubt anybody would really try reading them. I was surprised by how good they were. To anyone reading this I reccomend them. Especially if you're around my age.
