I'm fucking addicted to this show. I saw all 36 episodes over the past two weeks. How can you British assholes bear only getting 6 episodes per season? Also, Big Suze makes me feel funny in my pants, as does Dobby for some weird reason .

Supposedly, they're doing a seventh series which will probably not be out for quite some time. How long do you guys in Britain think the show will last? Here's to hoping that there's at least four more years left (Mark and Dobby FTW!!!).

Six episodes means that it's much more susceptible to cooling off. The bare minimum of episodes you need per season is 13.

Yeah, another thing that confuses me, and hopefully you can answer this for me, Lee: why don't sitcom stars in Britain just concentrate on one series and then work on films?

Also, would you mind recommending some other stuff to watch? Are Mitchell and Webb on any other sitcoms, or is the rest of their repertoire just game and reality shows?

They're turd in stuff they write themselves, but gold on Peep Show. Six episodes is more than enough. Otherwise I'm certain they'd have run out of ideas within two seasons, like what happens on every US sitcom.

24 episodes per series is excessive for anything, even if The Sopranos did it. 13 is better suited to something more dramatic. 6 episodes and no more for a sitcom.
