So there comes again an attack when Indo-Pak relationship was improving recently.... It has really been a trend that whenever talks between the two neighbouring countries have strengthened, a terrorist attack in India takes place to loosen the strength of talks.... But its way too much now! We have already suffered too many attacks and losses in terms of lives & property!

I really respect these 7 martyrs and all other who have died for our country!
May their souls Rest In Peace! :worship:

So now i wanted to ask that Should Indo-Pak relations be ended?
If we end them, it surely fulfills the aim of the terrorists but if we dont end them, we have to suffer such major losses often!

So i would say Yes! to end the relations!

Thoughts?

Man, I feel this has gone for too long. Nobody is safe from terrorism, but stopping all relationships would not put an end to the attacks.

In wake of these attacks, the only question that arises in my mind is would it ever end? Our country has been a soft target for a long time, and now no country is safe. What can possibly end this? Escapes me.

I think that ending talks with Pakistan is not the solution. India has done it many times, and it has no positive effect. Ultimately, we are forced to reinitiate talks again, every time. India does need to adopt a tougher stand, but tougher stand doesn't mean the approach of "we won't talk with you" or "we won't play cricket with you," while we are still sitting ducks for any Pakistan-sponsored terrorist attack. If you're gonna end relations, then END IT. Trade, summits, transportation, immigration, everything.
The first step should be to send the army and imprison (or better still, kill) the bloody separatists and other traitor mullahs in Jammu and Kashmir. Secondly, India needs to forget about Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and Aksai Chin. These territories are gone and never coming back, ever. Even if POK was brought under India's control, we would only gain a bunch of folks that have nothing in common with us, and many among them that downright hate us. Love what you have and protect that. Thirdly, whenever any such terrorist attacks happen, the politicians talk big, like "our soldiers' sacrifice won't go in vain" and "hum iska karara jawab denge" etc. Don't make claims if you can't back it up. Fourthly, the border security has to be improved big time. The intelligence also needs an upgrade. How can these terrorists just keep coming in and no one has a clue until they they have started the killing? The terrorists on this attack had more advanced weapons than our security personnel. The soldiers didn't even have proper bulletproof jackets or helmets. How freaking pathetic is that? Last year, there was a report on a news channel that our armies don't even get proper warm clothing or boots to keep them warm while on duty in the himalayas. Their feet get so frozen at times that their toes fell off. In our country, being a member of the army is one of the worst jobs, and that needs to change.
