Last time on Past Vs Present...

We kicked off this new series with a bang as the new monster on the block Braun Strowman faced off against the controversial Kevin Nash in a battle between powerhouses.

It looked like Strowman would run away with the victory, but Nash began to make a fierce comeback; keeping things close between the two until the last day.

With the score tied at eleven, I had no choice but to cast a tie-breaking vote between the two candidates. In the end, it would be Braun Strowman who would become the winner of this fantasy matchup.

On this installment of Past vs Present, The two biggest and baddest brawlers from then and now will square off to determine who is superior; and if there's one thing they have in common, they're both some really trashy talkers.

Bad News Brown
Birth Date: October 22, 1943
Wrestling Debut: October 23, 1977

Positives:
+ One of the first really agile big men of wrestling.
+ Could rile up a crowd at any time.
+ Legitimate tough even by wrestling standards.
+ The first true tweener in wrestling history.

Negatives:
+ Rumored to have had attitude problems.
+ One of the latest wrestling entrants ever.
+ His character may have been a little too early for WWE at the time.
+ The first main-stream tweener in wrestling history. (Bit of a double edged sword when you think about it)

Kevin Owens
Birth Date: May 7, 1984
Wrestling Debut: May 7, 2000

Positives:
+ Amongst the best wrestlers in WWE and the world.
+ Can go from comedic to sadistic in a heart-beat.
+ Had great runs in ROH, NXT and PWG.
+ One of the most natural heels in wrestling history.

Negatives:
+ Jeri-KO has held him back from what he can really be.
+ Some of his matches have a tendency to feel similar to each other.
+ His Universal Title has not done him any favors.
+ Could easily fall off the radar as newer stars enter the main event picture.

As with last time, voting will run for a week. Whoever gains more votes by that time will win, if there is a tie; I will break it.

KO all day. He's been a main eventer and champ at every stop on his way up the ladder. Bad News Brown was a career midcarder.

I think it's safe to say that K.O won this one whole handily.

And that I need to chose more equal matches.

You know, if bad news had been around in 1996, he could have been stone cold.

Same basic gimmick. Just the wrong decade.

Bad news was at some point promised a title win off hogan as well.

But Owens will have more longegevity
