Panda Energy (TNA) Has More Money Than WWE?

Why are 99% of the WWE fans absolute morons? This is a serious question. I have no problem with anyone until douchebaggery like this comes up. And people wonder why TNA's ratings aren't going up. Well, part of the reason is "fans" like this one walking around, spewing their BS and giving TNA (and the business) a bad name. Go fuck yourself, sir. Go fuck yourself hard.

Anyway, like others have stated - yes, Panda Energy does have more money than WWE. Does it matter? It would if Panda was dumping trucks of cash in TNA. But they're not. They're being smart about it and that's the way to go. Money doesn't buy viewers, so who has more is an incredibly idle argument.

Besides, Panda Energy has zero reason to invest a lot in TNA. Is TNA dying? Absolutely not. Is TNA thriving? Absolutely not. It's doing pretty good, though. It's growing year by year, the product is improving and everything is happening at the pace it should be. Regardless, I doubt that TNA is making Panda Energy a shit load of cash. It's making some, but not enough for Bob and Janice Carter to go "Okay, this is a gold mine, let's invest in it, make it bigger so it'll make us even more money than it is now." Investing a crap load of money in TNA at this point would be nothing but gamble to see if a little green will prove to be a rocket up the comapny's ass.

It's just good to know that TNA is backed up by Panda Energy who has a lot of resources in case something crazy happens, while WWE is mostly backed by itself and they're losing money year by year, more and more. Interest is down, PPV buys are down, ratings are slightly down (RAW), SmackDown is in the shitter, it shows no signs of growing, only shrinking. Meanwhile, the exact opposite is happening in TNA and has been for a quite some time. It's funny how people say TNA is like WCW when if any company is like WCW near the end it's the WWE. Shitty writing, wrestlers wanting out, losing money, losing ratings, throwing loads of cash at wrestlers just so they'd stick around and of course regardless of how bad the product is 99% of the time - a fairly big following of fans that will watch until the damn thing croaks.

vince is worth around 750 million dollars with company stocks and assets
the wwe is worth 2.14 billion dollars as a corp that there movies there gear from titan sports there deal with USA and SYFI and other venchers.

so lets say about 3 billion

TNA is net worth is 300 million thats there deal with spike and there gear and vids and equipment.

panda energy is made 50 million last year and gave 10 million so TNA could make there payroll march 2010 and give 5 million a year so TNA can make there payroll and pay there debts.

all in all the WWE is king by far and yes the wwe has had rating drops but still is the number 1 show on USA AND SYFI so there contracts will get renewed till the wwe finds a better deal.

both companys do better when they bitch about each other only way wresling as a whole will servive is to ally togther for join events PPV maybe 1 or 2 times a years.

Show me how Dixie arter mismanaged the company and almost ruined it. I want solid proof, black on white. Numbers, bonafide facts and such. Not speculations, not scumsheet rumors.

While I am not a professor, I have eyes and can see that the "Hogan Era" hasn't moved the ratings up significantly. So no matter how much TNA has spent on him, Bichoff, Hardy, and the others...they haven't moved the meter at all. SpikeTV doesn't promote the show on the network, the only commercials are on WHEN IMPACT IS ON. Why preach to the choir?

I'm sorry, I thought this thread was garnering OPINIONS. My bad that I didn't read any smallprint saying OPINIONS needed to backed up with numbers, bonafide facts and such.

They are going on the road more than any other year in 2011 WITH Hogan, Bischoff, Kurt, Sting, RVD and Anderson on the payroll. What does that tell you?

That IN MY OPINION (big enough for ya?) they're about 3 years too late. They stayed smalltime, don't be mad when they're considered smalltime. And with the names they blew money on....I'm sure smalltime wasn't their desire.

IW has improved greatly overseas and is actually AHEAD of WWE since signing the people you mentioned, so it hasn't been for nothing, of course they want bigger ratings, but they are still making money. Furthermore to everyone talking about the hogan/bischoff etc contracts costing so much, SpikeTV pays a percentage of those contracts not just IW. IW Haters crack me up, I love the "tna is on it's last leg" statements, you people have been saying that for years now and anyone who knows anything about business can easily see they are a growing company and making strides in the right direction. How are they 3 years too late on going on the road, they have now undoubtedly made enough to feel comfortable going on the road more and taking that chance. That's not something a company "on it's last legs" does. The cost of going on the road is not something daddy Carter would green light if they were losing money to the extent some of you say. Last I checked Panda Energy may own TNA, but TNA is... NOT an energy drink. Weird right? Panda Energy makes energy drinks. TNA makes it's own profit and is merely just attached to Panda Energy as a support favor from back in 2002 when it really was on the verge of closing down. Wanna know why Panda kept them? Because TNA's making money. Why else would Panda Energy, the energy drink company keep a wrestling fed? For lulz? Logic. Go figure.

Imagine this. You are a dad. You make 100K/year. You spend 30k/year paying for your house, you own a 50K car, you take your wife out to nice dinners every once in a while, etc etc. Your kid wants to make a little extra money. You give him 200 dollars to build a lemonade stand and he does and makes a few bucks off of it. I make about (in this scenario) 40k/year. I don't have a wife or kids.

You saying TNA has more money than WWE is like saying the kid with the wealthy dad has more money than the guy without any dependents. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Sure if Panda Energy was run by a bunch of idiots and invested all of their money into TNA (in which case they wouldn't be Panda ENERGY anymore) then yea, TNA has more money. However, in real life, no they don't.
