Reports had come out, linking Adam "Pacman" Jones to the Winnipeg team of the CFL. Everyone said this could be a real shot at Jones getting back into the NFL, and that if he plays well, he could essentially restart his career. John Clayton, of ESPN, even said that it would be smart for Jones to sign in Canada.
Well, last night, or early this morning, the Winnipeg team turned down the chance to sign him. They said they wanted someone who would be a good for the team, on and off the field. Clearly, they have no faith that Jones has grown up, and they also think he won't be effective on the field.
I think that Jones still has a chance in the NFL, because someone can always use a returner, and it hasn't been that long since he last played. Your thoughts?
