So, out of all the different versions of the song that have been covered by every band thus far... which one is the best?
I am going to have to give the nod to Thin Lizzy. These guys took the song from the underground & the unknown straight into the mainstream audience. Not to mention that they did the song to a great standard as well. If it weren't for them covering the song, the versions of the song by various artists like Gary Moore, U2 & Metallica [whom won a grammy for their performance] would not have been done to the excellence presented.
