Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh
Here's a whole new twist on "cover". This is the last song that Freddie ever wrote, and you almost tingle listening to it. It's extremely sad, but it's about going on, and carrying on through everything, and it has the power to bring anyone to tears.

The Original:

The "Cover":

I'm personally a fan of Moulin Rouge, and think it often catches too much slack. It's a decent cheesy musical, and it's made so anyone can enjoy it. They did a lot of covers throughout the movie, and this one was probably the best. Like the others they did, it fit the story where it needed to, and was easy to listen to.

But, nothing will, and nothing should, ever be nearly as good as the original here. Mercury is a goddess when it comes to writing and performing, and this is probably him at his best. I enjoy the cover, but it's just not the same.

Let me just start off by saying that Moulin Rouge is much more than just a "cheesy musical" as you say NSL. It's a damn fine film, and a work of art. I absolutely adore that film, and the cover version in the film is simply sublime, as they all are.

I like the original, quite a bit. But the cover is more appealing to me because of my love for Moulin Rouge.

I'm floored. I really thought you were going to come in here, pound your chest, and scream aloud that Queen is better than any song some movie plays. But, I was wrong...

And, as far as the movie, it is a cheesy musical, making it a damn fine film. I call it a "dick flick"...A sappy movie made for guys. It's got all the singing and dancing and mushy shit, but it still has hookers and sex, so it can't be made for girls. Either way, I enjoy watching it. I'm sure it'll be on again in the next few days...
