Opinions of Adam Rose & His Gimmick

Comedy characters rarely have any bright long term 'future'; their purpose is to make people laugh, and once their act gets old, they are replaced by another clown.
I don't mind a light-hearted segment once in a while; along with the seriousness of wrestlers like Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns, a bit of comedy is also ideal for a change of pace. The Santinos, Slaters and Sandows also add to the enjoyment of a show.
That being said, his fellow party-goers (including the bunny, especially the bunny) should trim down their act a bit. I feel their constant cheering and chanting, along with the regular camera focuses take a chunk of attention away from the main character, i.e. Adam himself. Once the bell rings, he should be the focal point of the match.

It's a joke. A Santino replacement. His Leo Kruger gimmick was awesome and really showed his wrestling skills. This gimmick gets him more entrance minutes than match minutes.

I don't necessarily hate the gimmick, I don't understand why they're having him dominate the lower-mid card though. That gimmick is clearly meant for a heel jobber, which is fine, it would be a quite fun heel jobber. Although I suspect he will eventually switch to that.

I actually love it! I only started watching WWE after a 4 or 5 year break & the first thing I watched was the PPV (It's slipped my mind) where he interrupts Sandow.

I immediately loved the music. I immediately laughed at his posse.
When he did the Prince-esque fall I lost it.

He'll never be big under this gimmick. He probably won't remain over for very long. But I just find it entertaining. Simple as that.

I think that they did a good job with Adam Rose in NXT over the past month or so and they've developed his character a little more, with slight heel-like tendencies starting to develop. I think that there is potential for him still - he's getting more over each week.

He'll be future endeavoured soon enough and you likely won't miss him.

But it's disappointing because I wanted him to succeed and I liked the gimmick at first in the sense that it was fairly original and certainly made him stand out, much more than Bo Dallas in my eyes. However, I too feel like we don't know enough about him. The audience can't connect if you don't give them something to bite into. I think a heel turn is somewhat needed, even as a short-term solution to see if he will sink or swim in a slightly more important role.

He's certainly not World Champion material but hey, Dolph Ziggler started off as a cheerleader and then became a world champ, so stranger things have happened.
