My high school had 30-40 people fights because of that relocation.
The whole demographic of my high school changed because of it and apparently it is a "scary" place to be now, granted that I have heard this only from tiny white girls. I never thought that the relocation would be as permanent as it was. Back on topic, go bird mascot teams! ... but not you dog killing eagle.

That still doesn't mean change is coming. The Saints have only been to the Superbowl once in their existince. If anything disapointiment for the Saints and their fans is going back to normal. Also, no team to win the superbowl has one a playoffs game the next season sense the Patriots did it in 2005, so this is the regular as of late. That patriots team was also the last team to make consecutive superbowls. I just fail to see how this is anymore change than normal.
Also, the Saints at the end of the game were down to their 5th runningback, so they were hardly at their best. Losing to the seahawks on the road (a team that had a winning record at home) is not as bad as it seems. A repeat just was not meant to be.
Dude, don't classify the entire state of Louisiana based only off of the ghetto pieces of trash that got moved to your neighborhood. I had to deal with those people as well after Katrina (many times before Katrina, too), but I've also dealt with just as many great, fun loving people whose homes and all their possessions got destroyed. You can't trash any entire state just because of a small group of people.
I had a friend at the game yesterday and he and his girlfriend were treated like SHIT by Seattle fans. Now I'm reading many similar stories on the major Saints board I frequent. That doesn't mean though I'm going to start labeling Seattle as filled with nothing but white trash Northwest rednecks. I know in the grand scheme of things that was only a small portion of the city, and that the majority would have been disgusted by the Seahawks fans behavior yesterday.

And the Jets haven't Been to a Super Bowl since 1969. I'd say them being there would shake things up more then any other team (Ravens made it in 01, Falcons in 99, Seahawks in 06, Pats in 08, Steelers in 09, Bears in 07, Packers in 98).
