Confirmed so far:

Christian Cage vs. Sting for the World Heavyweight Championship.

and

James Storm vs. Chris Harris in a Texas Deathmatch

I really don't want to see than main event. It will be one of the most boring match's of the year. Not good, not bad but blah.

The Harris & Storm match should be good. But couldn't they just have a normal wrestling match.

X-Division Championship is confirmed
Saban vs Lethal vs Sonja

I think there is something brewing with the tag titles as well, like fatal four way
with Team 3D, Joe & Rhino, Tomko & Steiner, LAX

Jarrett vs Rhoode for Eric Young's contract

So yes, now the X-Division match can be thrown in there as confirmed as well. However I'm not exactly sure that Sting's title shot at Sacrifice is confirmed, then again I haven't read next week's iMPACT! spoilers, so who knows. Alot of confusion after this week's iMPACT!

I'll admit the main event doesn't seem too appealing. However Cage has earned my respect ever since his match with Samoa Joe for the title a few monthes back, that really proved to me that he's not only got amazing charisma and mic skills, but he can step up and deliver a damn good match when needed. Then again he was facing Samoa Joe, so it's going to be alot different then him facing Sting. I love Sting, been a loyal Stinger ever since I started watching WCW all those years ago, but the man really needs to step out of the ring. His skill has been lacking for quite a while now. He can still put on a damn fine show, and a helluva hardcore match, but when it comes to straight technical mat wrestling his performance has been lacking for a while now.

Why would you rather have Harris and Storm in a regular match though Jake? I figured a Texas Deathmatch would be the perfect thing to make up for that blindfold match. I'm looking forward to it very much, should be very bloody and another classic match from two of TNA's best talents.

I have a feeling that before Sacriface gets here that the Sting/Cage title match will be changed, it looks like they are setting up for a Triple threat match, Sting vs. Cage vs. Angle, then they'll probably add the stipulation that if Team Cage interferes then Cage will forfeit the belt

gotta say, didn't see the whole Jarrett/Roode thing coming, I thought that they were going to set up an Angle/Jarrett feud after what happened at Lockdown

Aren't the Bashems suppose to debut at Sacrifice?, I thought that was the plan, to have them brought in by Christy Hemme to go up against VKM

Right now the plan for the Bashems is just confusing. They're using one of the brothers by his name Danny Basham I think it is, and the other brother they've given a completely different gimmick to. I doubt they'll be doing any tag team work. Besides I think we're all sick and tired of the VKM-Hemme feud. The only saving grace of that is the fact that Christy Hemme is smokin hot.

They put Kurt Angle between Cage and Sting, I would bet my all money on Angle, because in the last months Cage and Sting held the title two (?) times each other.

Kurt Angle had one oportunity and he lost to Christian Cage, it could be also a great oportunity to see Kurt Angle developing a heel status on TNA, Sting could be the contender and Christian Cage could be envolved in any other feuds, like fighting Samoa Joe or so.

is it just me or are there way too many triple threat matches in this ppv, every title is on the line in a triple threat, Cage vs. Sting vs. Angle for the NWA title, Sabin vs. Sonjay vs. Lethal for the X-division title, and 3D vs. LAX vs. Steiner & Tomko for the Tag belts, what is up with all thes triple threat matches, why not have the Nwa Title match be a one on one match between Sting and Cage and then put Styles and Angle in a match together for the #1 contendership, then for the tag titles make it a 4-way and add Joe and rhino to the mix, also I would like to see them make the X-Divsion title match anultimate x match instead of a traditional triple threat, it's been awhile since we've seen an ultimate x match and I think that these three guys could put on a good one

Agreed. It's overkill. I suppose the tag match is different. But I dont see the point in the two single title match's to be triple threat. In my opinion they should just leave Sonjay Dutt off the card. And Angle should have a different opponent. I cant describe how much I am hating TNA at the moment. Yeah the PPV's usually deliver better quality match's than WWE ones. But at least there's a purpose to most of WWE's PPV match's.

Well I hate to tag along here but ya TNA i have no idea what the hell they are doing lately. It seems to that is PPV will be one of those that will lead to Slammerversary espically for the King of the Mountain match. Though i see the Tag team match as a way to get the belts off Team 3D of a way to for the Dudleys to retain with LAX suffering the loss. Jake will agree with leaving Dutt off the card as a Black Machismo and Sabin match would be one to steal the show. Though this 3 way match will still be a show stealer. The whole Jeff Jarrett and Robert Rhode match will be an ok match dont see much out of it. The AMW match please will be better than last time but still a dud. The main event will nothing great as i see Cage retaining as he is the man TNA feel is the best to be champ

With the announcement of the Styles/Joe match and the Daniels/Rhyno match as well as the 4 way x division bout featuring Lynn/Senshi/Shelley/Tiger mask it has shaped up to be what could turn out to be one of the best Cards of the year...and hey only one gimmick match!!! and i have been waiting to see storm go harris go apeshit at each other or a while.

Anyway hears my predictions....

* Triple Threat match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship: Christian Cage (c) vs. Sting vs. Kurt Angle

Either Angle will win the title or they will hold it off and continue to build him as a heel against sting...and Christian will retain and drop the title at slammiversary...

* Texas Death match: Chris Harris vs. James Storm

I think we will see a Chris Harris win, James storm has had the upper hand for most of the feud.

* Triple Threat match for the TNA X Division Championship: Chris Sabin (c) vs. Jay Lethal vs. Sonjay Dutt

Black Machismo will win...he is been pushed to the moon at the minute... because of the new gimmick...which sets up the Lethal vs sonjay matches that they are pre-empting and then lets Chris Sabin team with shelley some more to further the backlund storyline now that starr is suspended.

* Three-Way Dance for the NWA World Tag Team Championship: Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) (c) vs. Scott Steiner and Tomko vs. The Latin American Exchange (Homicide and Hernandez)

I really dont want Team 3d to retain, but i think they will....i want the title back on LAX...so they can feud with some one like the newly created Sabin and Shelley team or the bashams after they have finished with VKM.

* Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks) vs. Jeff Jarrett

Should be a good solid match... Jeff will probably walk away with the win and erics contract.

* Rhino vs. Christopher Daniels
Daniels...deff he is rising up the ranks again and i cant see a reason why they would have rhyno win...unless daniels trys to cheat and it is a no DQ.

* Basham and Damaja vs VKM

Basham and Damaja... no reason...i just hate VKM.

* Samoa Joe vs. A.J. Styles

No idea ....will be a solid match no doubt and i can see Joe picking up the win...A.J might if Christian or other coalition members interfear..

* Tiger Mask vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Alex Shelley vs. Senshi

Is anyone else thinking...Tigermask...thats great but why??...either a Senshi or Tiger mask win...

The Tiger Mask IV match will be worth the buy just by itself, you have four great workers in there, this is just a "F**k it we'll throw a match together out our asses and see what it does" type match, I love it. As for why Tiger Mask IV is wrestling in it, He is already in America right now so they get him on the PPV just as part of a cross brand thing that was being reported a while ago. Anyway this match is going to be fricking sweet.

O i forgot they made that deal with AJPW? didnt they...that will be the cross brand thing... it does seem like one of those really random matches, lets hope it doesnt get bumped down the pre-show and take up lance hoyt and killings down there...:s

My predictions:

World Tag Title Match:

I'm actually looking forward to this. Dont know why Tomko & Steiner suck. And LAX vs. Team 3D has been done to death. LAX should be the champs. But it's too early to take the titles off Team 3D.

World Heavyweight Title Match:

I'm not in the slightest bit intrested in this match. Sting & Cage bore me. I'm sure it will be perfectly fine. But it should be the like's of Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels that headline shows. I think Angle will win. But by pinning Sting.

X-Division Title Match:

Another triple threat? I dont get why Sonjay Dutt is in the match but still. It should be good. At leat TNA dont allocate 9 minutes to smaller wrestlers. I think Sabin will retain.

Christopher Daniels vs. Rhyno:

I'm looking forward to this match. I'm a mark for both of them. I hear Daniels will be feuding with Sting, so he's my pick.

Chris Harris vs. James Storm:

It cant be worse than last month's match. I dont see why they couldn't have had a singles match on PPV first. I'll go with Syorm to pick up the victory.

A.J. Styles vs. Samoa Joe:

Another match that will be awesome. It's been done plenty of times but it's still fresh. Joes a glorified jobber now so I'll go with Styles.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Bobby Roode:

Meh. Couldn't really give a shit. Better than a womens match I suppose. Roode should go over. But logic very rarley excists inwrestling. Prediction: Jarrett.

VKM vs. The Bashams:

With Russo's booking I expect VKM to go over. When logiaclly they should have been released instead of The Naturals.

Tiger Mask vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Senshi vs. Alex Shelley:

I'm really not sure. I would like to see Shelley win. But in all honestly I couldn't pick out a winner. TNA filler is far superior to WWE filler that's for sure.

It look's like a pretty decent card. I wish they had them live over here. It's not the same watching a show if you know the results.

Ok, it's prediction makin time

-World Heavywieght title-Christian vs. Sting vs. Angle
my pick for this one is Christian to retain, I think that is little entourage will runn in to help him out and that Sting and Angle will be to focused on each other to be effective agaisnt Christian, also see this match as a set-up for Sting vs. Angle next month

-Tag Titles-Team 3-D vs. L.A.X. vs. Tomko & Steiner
I'm going with 3-D on this one, I don't think TNA would give them the titles just to have them taken away a month later, and I think that things will break down between Steiner and Tomko

-X-Divsion title-Sabin vs. Sonjay vs. Leathal

Sabin is going to retain, Sonjay and Lethal have to much jealouy running between them, I would like to see Sonjay win but sadly it won't happen

-AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe
this should be a good one, and could go either way, I think I have to go with Joe on this one though, this is going to be one of those matches that could steal the show, the last time these two feuded it was Joe playing the heel and AJ as the good guy, I think Joe edges out AJ on this one but to tell you the truth I wouldn't be suprised if AJ came out on top, of couse he would probably have to cheat a little to do it

-Texas Deathmatch- James Storm vs. Chris Harris

Chris Harris is going to win this one, Storm won the last one and everybody wants to see Harris get his revenge so I'm thinking that Harris hits Storm over the head with the beer bottle, and come out on top

-Jarrett vs. Roode
this is a pretty easy one, Jarrett wins, I thinking Eric Young will be involved in some way, possiably costing Roode the win, if I were TNA, I would have Young come out and turn on Jarrett, then become heel, but I don't think that will happen because the fans seem to love Young for some reason, personally I could give a shit less about the guy

-Christopher Daniels vs. Rhino
hopeing for Daniels to win this one, this could be a good match, but I don't really get why Daniels is in a feud with Rhino, there was really no story leading into this match, it's like they decided to through this one together at the last minute

-VKM vs. Bashem & Damaja w/ Chrisy Hemme
idk, I really don't care to much about this one but I'm geuss I'm going to say Bashem & Damaja, just because they're the better team

-Shelley vs. Lynn vs. Senshi vs. Tiger Mask
this is going to be a good match, I like everybody in it also so picking a winner is kinda tough but I think I'm goign to go with Senshi, since I like him best out of the four, the one question I have is why isn't Petey Williams in this match also?, and more importantly why isn't he on the card?

Ok, now its time for me to chime in on my predictions

NWA World Heavywieght Triple Threat Match
(C) Christian Cage vs. Sting vs. Angle
Not really excited about this match as I not to high on Cage as champion and sting in this later stage of his life. I think Angle will dominate but i can see TNA waiting till like next month to put it on Kurt in the KOTM match at Slammiversey. So i see Cage retaining in a ok match

NWA World Tag Team Championship
(C) Team 3-D vs. L.A.X. vs. Tomko & Steiner

Not a great match but a solid one and i see no way that TNA will take the belts of Team 3D so soon. Tomko and Steiner will implode and LAX will be there mixing it up. I see Team 3D pinning either Tomko or steiner

TNA X-Division Championship 3-Way Match
(C) Chris Sabin vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Jay Lethal

Should be an awesome match and a show stealer and they way they have been having things go between Lethal and Dutt so i see Lethal winning as he has been having a monster push and Sabin with go with Shelly to feud with Backlund.

AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe
Always awesome matches between these two though it has been done before. I see no way that Styles will lose as Joe is a jobber nowadays and i have no idea what TNA is doing with him character wise so i see Styles winning.

Texas Deathmatch
James Storm vs. Chris Harris
Storm has domainted this feud and there no way he will thisone becuase of that. Wildcat will win and we will of course see Jackie and Gail get invloved.

Jarrett vs. Roode
Easy one Jarrett will win and some way get Eric not a great match i think but oh well Jarrett. Anyways young and ms.brooks will get invloved too

Christopher Daniels vs. Rhino
Rhino is nothing more than a jobber always has ben always will be. Daniles will win this as he i sgetting apush so he can eventually feud with Sting so Daniels will win

VKM vs. Basham & Damaja w/ Chrisy Hemme
Dont give a shit about this match but see VKM losing and ya boring match

Alex Shelley vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Senshi vs. Tiger Mask
This could possibly be the best match on the card. Should be an awesome match with some fast paced action and i pick shelly to win as he is the only in a simi magor angle.

Now for Next month as a result i think at Slammiversary the KOTM match will be (C) Christian vs Kurt Angle vs Sting vs Jeff Jarrett vs AJ Styles from what happens at here tonight

I am curious as to what the hell will go down tonight...they have the titles set up in a way that good be all change and with the new TNA belts coming in to replace the NWA ones; i am predicting something to go down...

Also Will Jim Mitchell debut Banderas tonight in some fashion as i would presume that Slammiversary will be a huge event been the five year anniversary in Nashville and they would probably want Banderas/Abyss to build over the next few weeks.

Slammiversary will prob have all the major feuds on it..either starting or ending in some fashion.

It seems a solid card, should be entertaining and quick paced with a brilliant selection of matches.Sting IS NOT going to win due to a fued with Chris Daniels.

Okay. I watched the PPV tonight. However I find it weird that they cut out the PPV so early with the last shot of Kurt Angle holding the NWA belt. So I gotta wonder whether this was intentional or not. This PPV to me made up for Lockdwon. One of the matches that stole the show was to me Chris Harris vs James Storm. It was bloody, and probably the bloodiest match I've seen in some years, and it was a brutal all out war with two guys kicking the crap out of each other. I even got a little squeamish with Storm lying face down in a puddle of his own blood. They more than made up for that godawful blindfold match.

To see Kurt Angle walk away with the NWA title shocked me. So now, he's going to be the last guy to have held the NWA world title for the TNA era. Since we now know the new belts will be arriving and possibly debut this week.

Just when I think I've seen it all with AJ Styles v. Samoa Joe, I'm proven wrong. Joe going "tazmission-plex" on AJ and probably could have smashed his head into dust, blew my mind. AJ is now 0-4 against Samoa Joe and even when AJ gives his all against Joe, it's still not enough to take him down.

Now, while I've been wanting Sabin to have the X-Division belt, have they seriously run out of opponents for him? Now that it looks like Sonjay and Lethal will be colliding, who's next to take on Sabin and it sure as hell better not be Backlund. What about Petey Williams? What about Senshi? When will we see Sabin put up the belt against one of them?

The tag title match, okay now a dream match for me is The Dudley Boyz vs The Steiner Brothers. My problem with this happening in TNA is this: I wanted to see this match WHEN THE STEINERS WERE IN THEIR PRIME!!!!!!! Both proved to suck beyond belief in singles. And even if you put them as a tag team now, it wouldn't help either of them.

VKM vs the Bashams, can we PLEASE just call it like we see it in Lance Hoyt being a third member of the VKM? He's pretty much the unofficial third member of Kip and BG so let's just make it official already. Personally, it doesn't bug me. I wanted something done with Lance and they finally are.

And while yes, they went nuts with the Triple Threat matches, it's a lot better than Blindfold match in a cage and that godawful electrified cage. Triple Threat matches, those are different. That's just a variation of a normal match as opposed to the goofy gimmicks like that cage, blindfold matches, last rights match, etc. THe closest you had to a gimmick match was the Texas Deathmatch but it worked. I don't mind the gimmick matches. Just as long as it is something actually believable. And brace yourselves cause you know at Slammiversary, we're going to have a King of the Mountain match. Personally, I like the six sides of steel and I like the Ultimate X because with X, it's like evolution from a ladder/TLC match into something more high risk and innovative. Six Sides of Steel is just brutal. A different form of brutality you'd get in a cage or Hell in a Cell. But they work regardless.

Oh, and I'm surprised that Jeff Jarrett put over Bobby (Robert) Roode. I mean, Roode was supposed to be getting a push after Team Canada split up. But he has not beaten anybody noteworthy til now. And before that, Petey Williams.

Overall, good ppv. It seemed like it broke out of the funk TNA had been in ever since Against All Odds. It's not a complete improvement. But it's a start.

The Dusty Finish that they had with NWA title match is because, Christian Cage was stripped of the Title by the NWA, who concluded their 5 year relationship with TNA. So this match was "Unsanctioned" by the NWA, that means that the title could not change hands, this is setting up for the KotM at Slammiversary, Because Christian Cage was stripped of the Title, he could not defend it, thereby meaning they could not change over to Kurt holding the Belt.
