*Official* How would you book Stings Debut?

Imagine that Crow music playing with Sting in the Royal Rumble Match as a surprise entrant? The pop Sting would get especially if he were in the Royal Rumble Match Sting would have to be considered the odds on favorite to win the Royal Rumble Match unless a superstar were to eliminate him from the match like a Randy Orton for example, setting up a Sting/Orton feud or if the COO Triple H were to show up and eliminate Sting from the Rumble and Triple H is not even a part of the Rumble Match but stops Sting from main eventing Mania, setting up a Triple H/Sting feud which would be perfect

Start with Rollins suddenly being paranoid. He's convinced someone is stalking him. The public will file this as Ambrose and will not give it much attention. A couple of week pass and this gets built up until Rollins is found unconscious and beated up by some mysterious guy, he's now in keyfabe coma.

The Authority is weirded out by this, and it get worse when its other members start getting stalked and beated down too. One after one they fall, even stephanie. No one is safe, Triple H start having lot of extra security in the backstage, and frantically trying to understand who's doing this, but it's no use. All the members apart from Triple H get taken down.

Close a minor PPV with the whole staff searching for Triple H, no one finds him. The announcer put over that "there's no one left to book next raw".

Next Raw comes. The arena's lights are dim. The announcers sum up last ppv and put over again how they're not sure what will happen tonight because there's no one to book the show. Lights go dark.

Sting appears in the middle of the ring with Triple H tied up and beaten up. Sting promo that "puts Triple H on trial" for his authority meddling, and then heavily beat him up with the baseball bat, announcing that "the king is dead" and there's a new sheriff in town.

Sting new GM, we can then have it fight Triple H at some point for control of the company if we can see old people punch each other, but more importantly Sting GM which is quite good.

I like this a whole lot but how I would do it:

The Authority gets taken down one by one week after week, the first Authority victim that I would have Sting take out would be the Director of Operations, Corporate Kane but with Sting I would have him leave clues about his identity by leaving a calling card of sorts, not the baseball bat but leaving a black rose on Corporate Kane

The Authority would start to get worried that someone is coming after them directly but they would assume right away that it's Dean Ambrose even though we all know it isn't Dean Ambrose

The 2nd victim that gets taken out the next week would be Randy Orton with Sting leaving a black rose near Orton's unconscious body

But of course Sting's face or his body would not be shown backstage

Then the next week Triple H would start to get pissed off that both Kane and Orton have been taken out and Triple H would order Rollins to take out whoever is doing this, he would then order Rollins Mr. Money in the Bank to take out this mystery person even if it does turn out to be Dean Ambrose which Triple H would be leaning towards

Then later on in the show Rollins would be backstage looking for Ambrose when the lights go out backstage and Rollins is all alone with Sting where Sting would take Rollins out with his baseball bat leaving Rollins laying where he would put a black rose on him, the lights come back on and Rollins is laid out backstage briefcase in hand but the black rose would be left on his unconscious body leaving Triple H all angry but scared too at the same time leaving Stephanie all worried as well

Then Triple H the next week on RAW he and Stephanie would try to call out this mystery person convinced that it is Dean Ambrose but then the lights would go out, orchestral music would start playing and then Sting's music would play with Sting's titantron music playing and the lights would flash to high up in the rafters with Sting standing there baseball bat in tow staring down Stephanie and Triple H with a blank stare almost pointing his bat at Stephanie and Triple H

Making Sting a surprise Royal Rumble entrant would be cool but it would also be a huge waste of money. People don't buy a network because they don't know something huge is going to happen. They buy because they think something huge is going to happen. Debuting Sting with a proper build will get you more viewers. Surprising people will do nothing.
