[Official] Halloween 2009

Good rule of thumb, if you've started shaving, you probably shouldn't be off begging door to door for free candy.

Shut it ho. I'm 19, have a nice goatee going, and I still trick or treat. Also have a well paying job. I'm hitting up the rich neighborhoods for good candy. So :p Lol.

Oh and Chipotle as well before Trick or Treating.

It's kinda funny, I actually live in the rich neighborhood of town, but I live on the poor side of it. It's a loop on a hill. The high side of the loop is the rich side and the low side is the poorer side. I'm on the low side.

As a consequence, I get all the rich kids coming to my house trick or treating. That's cool, I like giving out candy to them, but the parents always have this look like they're slumming and they wish they'd worn a surgical mask and rubber gloves for a costume so they wouldn't have to touch or breathe our lower class filth.

:lmao:

You want me to send you masks and gloves to hand out to the parents? I do work in a hospital, and work with the supply of masks and gloves that are sent to departments. :lmao:

I always want to spit in my hand and extend it for a handshake like you always see the hillbillies do in movies.

Halloween is awesome! Cannot wait til tommorow night! My costume is banging'! One word(well two but..) "Booty Shorts"....pics may follow! :)

I tend to like Halloween but scary movies and me aren't really good bed fellows. I was petrified by What lies beneath, and watching The Decent gave me nightmares a couple of years ago :( I did watch half of Halloween the origonal last year so maybe I am getting a little better.

Watching Buffy at the moment- does that count at all? :p

Depends. Is it the movie Buffy, or the series. If it's the movie, the shitty acting scares the piss outta me. The series is just awesome, and nobody should be scared of it.

And it is officially Samhain here. Blessed be to you all and have an awesome harvest.

Now that I've covered my pagan beliefs, it's time to party!

I'm watching Halloween 3 right now. Tom Atkins is fucking God.

Ty, you're pagan as well? I thought I was the only one in these parts.

Not strictly pagan, well not anymore anyways. I follow mainly Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and Paganism. I take a little bit of everything.

I used to be quite a bit into Wicca, haven't properly celebrated or practiced in years though.

As was I back in high school. However it wasn't strictly/straight Gardner style Wicca, more or less I was a solitary practitioner. I've never been a fan of religious groups, at least in the vein of covens. That and I knew more than any coven that was around here. And there weren't many.

Want to know the funny thing? I learned Wicca from my father.

Yep, I had normal parents :lmao:

I went to a few coven meetings around me, and was pretty close to joining myself, but to be honest, it takes a lot of time out of your life to be a practicing Wiccan, and I just didn't have it at the time...Once my life settles down a bit, and I can "devote" myself to it, I'll give it another go.

I know it sounds weird, but it's very true.

My mom grew up in a very religious part of South Carolina, but we were talking about Wicca one day, and she went as far as buying books and shit to read up on it so that she could understand what it was I was believing. My mom's awesome...

One of my girlfriend's exes is deep into the old Norsk mythology/religion. I met the dude and I was a bit worried meeting him because my girl and him are still close friends. So we met at the bar and I'm nervous as shit because I knew this guy was big and wasn't afraid to get violent. Come to find out he was a straight up chill guy and we sat for at least 2 hours comparing and discussing the differences in our pagan beliefs. Who knew something like that would break any tension that may have existed before meeting each other.
