I did like the PPV but I had a bad feeling about it ever since they announced Abyss vs Styles as the main event all of a week before it occurred. Not because I have anything against those guys, I am fans of both and actually thought they put a lot of strong stuff together when actually wrestling at the PPV, but because there was no good ending and feared it would break the show. Boy did that turn out to be true. Luckily, since I had prepared myself for a dumb ending, I could enjoy it for what it was.

The prevailing problem in many of the matches was that they seemed like they just slapped them together haphazardly continuing the storylines instead of reaching an apex of conclusion. This was the knockouts match problem. It was a decent match but what made it special? Then the next day they do a first blood match for a taped impact? Seems like the long-term planning is suffering some at the moment.

X-division gimmick matches were creative and exciting. Except Kendrick who looked really bad at times and decent at others. Replace Kendrick with Lethal and that match would have been better. Although, I am not really feeling Kaz as a babyface and both matches had easily predictable outcomes. Which is why I cannot figure out why everyone is so mad Beer Money did not win. That was unpredictable and the match told a good story. The X title match got overshadowed by the other matches. It was not bad but pretty forgettable. When Williams wins, even if he uses a brick, the chaos theory needs to be on display.

I was almost disappointed in Angle-Anderson match because it was only good until Anderson got his mic and made the whole thing work.

For a while I thought maybe this rob terry thing was not crazy. At this point I am sick of it. He almost looks like he might not be as terrible as he used to be in the ring, but if they are not going to give us a chance to find out either way, you have to think he is still quite bad. If they do not trust him to do more than a squash this is just a terrible waste. At least give him a manager or something so we could pretend to have a reason to care.

Compared to many of the other nostalgia matches we have been "treated" to the wolfpac reunion match was actually pretty good. Although I LMAO when Pac had to help Hall get Eric the rest of the way up for the finish. Just because it has been done and is predictable does not always mean it is not enjoyable. If it did wwe would have gone out of business a long time ago.
