PRE-SHOW

Neville vs. Trevor Lee (Champion vs. Champion, Non-Title)

Lee puts up a good fight early on but Neville ultimately dominates him in the end

Winner: Neville

Battle Royal [10 NXT vs. 10 TNA]
---> Kassius Ohno, Tyler Bate, Hideo Itami, Tye Dillinger, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Roderick Strong, Aleister Black, No Way Jose, Buddy Murphy
---> Drew Galloway, EC3, Cody Rhodes, Mike Bennett, Aron Rex, Tyrus, Moose, Rockstar Spud, Mahabali Shera, and Robbie E

The Match: A big deal is made out of how NXT and TNA guys are likely to stand together to represent their respective brands but that quickly falls apart when Aron Rex unexpectedly attacks Moose from behind at the start of the match.

Eliminations:

20/19. No Way Jose and Mahabali Shera (by Drew Galloway [the two were having a taunt-off])
18. Aron Rex (by Kassius Ohno [knocked out by an elbow and tossed])
17. Moose (by Kassius Ohno [same fate as Rex, too busy taunting Rex after elimination]
16. Buddy Murphy [by Tyrus]
15. Tye Dillinger [by Drew Galloway (big clothesline out of nowhere)]
14. Robbie E [by Kassius Ohno]
13. Aleister Black [by Tyrus who then starts knocking people down left and right]
12. Tyrus [by Galloway and Ohno, followed by a standoff between the two]
11. Rockstar Spud [by Tommaso Ciampa (Spud had been hiding behind Tyrus and lost his protection)]
10. Tommaso Ciampa [by Roderick Strong (blindsided after Spud elimination)]
09. Mike Bennett [by Kassius Ohno]
08. Hideo Itami [by Drew Galloway]
07. Roderick Strong [by Johnny Gargano after a long fight with each other]
[Big Standoff between the remaining NXT and TNA guys, Ohno and Galloway start to fight]
06. EC3 [by Tyler Bates after a strong battle]
05. Johnny Gargano [by Cody Rhodes after missing an attempt to eliminate Rhodes]
[Bate and Rhodes fight until they notice Ohno and Galloway locked together next to the ropes like two big bulls, they tentatively stop fighting and walk over to catch the big guys offguard, helping each other to eliminate both at the same time]
04/03. Kassius Ohno and Drew Galloway [by Bate and Rhodes]

Final Two: Cody Rhodes and Tyler Bate

MAIN CARD

Dawson and Wilder vs. The American Wolves

Starting off with what could easily be the match of the night, two of the best tag teams in the world battle to a jaw dropping conclusion.

Winners: The American Wolves

The Authors of Pain vs. Abyss and Crazzy Steve

Steve proves completely ineffective in the match and while Abyss puts up a valient fight, the combined size of the Authors of Pain proves too much.

Winners: The Authors of Pain

Austin Aries vs. Jeff Hardy

Aries called out Jeff for losing his spark and becoming the "second best" Hardy, Jeff comes into this match with a lot to prove to show he is as good as he ever was, while there are many close calls, Jeff manages to hit the Swanton to silence Aries.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

sAnitY vs. DCC (Six-Man Tag)

The DCC seems like the stronger team initially but they are slowly picked off by the dirty tactics of sAnity leaving Kingston to be finished off by Young in the center of the ring.

Winners: sAnitY

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Bobby Lashley (for the TNA Championship)

Nakamura seems certain to win until Lashley manages to take out his bad leg and hits a big spear to finish him.

Winner (and STILL TNA Champion): Bobby Lashley

Tyler Bate vs. Cody Rhodes

One of the hottest young talents taking on one of the hottest journeymen in the world, Rhodes surprisingly tries to use some heel tactics early on to finish Bate and Bate soon knows he has to expect anything. Despite controlling much of the match, karma catches up with Rhodes as Bate locks in his finisher out of nowhere and wins a future NXT title opportunity. Bate's young star just keeps rising.

Winner: Tyler Bate

The Authors of Pain vs. The American Wolves (Tournament Final)

Although the Authors of Pain seem like the obvious winners, the American Wolves use an incredible amount of teamwork to wear down the big men and eventually manage to topple one of them for the upset victory! After the win, Richards tells American Alpha to "expect us".

Winners: The American Wolves

Asuka (c) vs. Gail Kim (for the NXT Womens Championship)

A dream match coming true, Kim shows a renewed vigor, wanting to be the first person to stop Asuka since her debut in NXT. As hard as she fights however, Asuka keeps coming back in. A second wind, a third, a fourth, there is no stopping Asuka as Kim eventually has to admit defeat by tapping her hand on the mat.

Winner (and STILL NXT Womens Champion): Asuka

Bobby Roode (c) vs. Matt Hardy (for the NXT Championship)

A lot of theatrics as Roode flaunts his robe, the women who accompanied him to the ring, and even a luxury watch. Roode tells Hardy that a freak like him will never make it to the top of the mountain. Hardy says they met in a past life and Hardy was the better man then as he will be tonight. It isn't the most technical match in wrestling history but both men turn their characters up to 11. The women outside the ring attempt to distract Hardy which leads Reby Sky to start wildly slapping at all of them. This distracts Roode who is caught in a Twist of Hate to shockingly lose his title!

Winner (and NEW NXT Champion): Matt Hardy

Lol, fuck you for making me imagine the potentially incredible Revival/Wolves match that will never actually come to fruition. ;)
