NXT Season 2 Finale LD 8/31

Did anyone else notice that Riley threw Percy out of the ring, and now they're working together?

And Cole brings up an excellent point, I'm surprised all the rookies are cool with McGillicutty declaring himself the rightful winner.

Seriously, they ruined a terrific ending, and a pretty good season (better than last season in my opinion) of NXT with that lazy, sloppy booking. Total crap. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we get a new NXT 7 for Smackdown, with Kaval playing the role of John Cena and trying to organize a team to stop them.
 
So they gave us the video package we had at the beginning, and there are only six pairings next season?
 
That was almost as sloppy as a TNA brawl. I mean, Percy got slammed by Sega Genesis McGuillicutty (or whoever it was) and then seconds later, they're on the same page? What was that?
 
I was laughing at how Riley just beat up on Percy Watson, threw him out the ring, then he came back in and there working together. BUT YES. Genesis is Nexus v2 apparently led by Mcgilicutty. Would be awesome if they merge with Nexus, but if not they just do there thing on Smackdown.

True, but I still don't think it'll be that bad. As I said, NXT will give the divas the chance to develop actual characters and personalities, which is a big problem in the divas today. Plus with divas like Aloisa and AJ Lee, and pros like GOLDUST and Vickie, I seriously don't think it'll be half bad.

At least, it won't be abysmal.

What's the problem with the NXT2 guys doing that? They were equally shit on by the WWE, they want contracts, they will do whatever it takes to get them. Yes, the ending wasn't great, but 5 minutes doesn't ruin 3-4 months.
 
That would have been ten times better if Percy and Titus came out as faces to team up with Kaval, MVP, Kofi, and Mark Henry, while the other 5 NXT'ers and Miz came out to make a heel team. Let the faces win, and have a happy ending to NXT, something that eluded us last season when a heel won.

This would have been great. What was WWE's obsession with killing PErcy's cheers?
 
I wish Zack Ryder was a pro again. He could hit on all the rookies (sans Alouisa and the one that looks like a dude, who are Not Hot Enough)

Because that story has been played out. If you go see a movie sequel, how would you feel if it had the exact same ending. Now obviously NXT Seasons 1 and 2 didn't have identical endings, but the groups both formed factions that jumped superstars, and you're suggesting that they share the same motivation.

Also, I didn't say it ruined the whole season, just the ending. It would have been nice to see Kaval, the obvious underdog, bask in triumph with two beautiful women next to him.
