Did anyone notice a few things about the Jericho / Punk Segment.

One part was when Jericho went for the kick and landed on his ass and yelled Owwww Dmanit.

The second one was when the candy glass bottle of " Jack Daniels" ,I believe it was Iced tea cause the first one had foam in the bottle as he poured it like Iced tea gets, shattered as he started to bring it downon punks head. Jericho even yelled what the F-bomb when it happened.

Now I should explain why I call it a candy glass bottle. In theater and movies bottles that are to be used to hit over someones head are made of Candy that resembles glass. Its basically pure suggar but can hold a liquid. However if it sits to long after the liquid is added it becomes super brittle and we get what happened to Jericho with the second bottle last night.

It is very hard to take a brutal beatdown seriously when your props screw you over like that. But for the most part it looked not so bad even with the Slip and the bottle.

What do you all think did the botches make the beatdown look silly?

I lol'd and could hear a small but noticeable portion of the crowd laugh a little bit when he busted his ass on the alcohol puddle he made. And when the bottle broke in a little too noticeably fake way, I just accepted it for what it was. I mean, since all of us expected that there was not going to be any blood rushing from Punk's head after the smash, I think it's safe to say that we were in a healthy state of suspended belief.

Oh D-Man you need to lighten up dude.

I thought it was hillarious the botches that were none of his own fault. I enjoy it for what it is entertainment I did greco roman in HS and I do MMA for the past 25 years. I know what is real wrestling and real hitting. Just remember its a show some just I think you and many others take it a bit tooooooooo seriously.

Its ok to laugh at goofs hell do you not laugh when you see a botch in a movie? Example a plane in flying in the sky in the movie Troy. I laughed my ass off with that. Oh how bout a car gets shot up in one scene and in the next there are no bullet holes in it?

I think you among may others need to relax a bit its not real its a soap opera for guys. Or wait do you think General Hospital, Jersey Shore and other "Reality" shows are real?

Take it for the funits supposed to be life is serous enough to get angry over a post on a forum about a fake soap opera with fighting in it.

Man, you guys are too fucking critical.

While it didn't really bother me, I don't see what is crazy about suggesting something obviously comedic happening in a segment that was supposed to be extremely intense detracted from it. The bottle breaking early is a little more nitpicky but it certainly could have looked better.

The slip was kind of funny, but Jericho played it off so who cares? It's not like he didn't continue to beat on Punk...

And the bottle was made that way. The only way it wasn't going to break was if he moved it so slow a real bottle wouldn't be able to break. It's not like they're going to use real glass.

Were they noticeable? Yes. But was it really a big deal? Not at all. The slip was funny though.

That was not embarrassing because Jericho didn't make it look like that. Alright that was a slip but you can overlook it.

If a lesser performer had slipped maybe they would have panicked and ruined the segment.

Jericho is a pro and coped well with it. Fucking love Jericho
