Night Of Champions: Mickie James vs. Katie Lea Burchill

That probably won't happen now Franchise, with Kennedy being drafted to SD! and Mickie and Cena both staying on RAW. I expect Katie Lea to go over due to interferance from Paul, but I would rather have Mickie retain.

Well we have to hand it to the WWE in that, with that hectic, chaotic, and utterly confusing potential tri-roster-botch of a draft, they've at the very least made it so Night of Champions isn't as predictable as it was before haha. So far, this is the only match that we know 100% what the outcome will be: Mickie retaining. Should be a decent, but not amazing match, that is FAAAAAAAAR over shadowed by the major problems at hand including belts being on the wrong shows, new drafts, etc.

This match won't be a big match, but it is the most predictable match that is on the card. I expect a decent match out of these 2 divas.

So, both of these guys are good wrestlers. There are so many reasons why Katie won't pick up the victory.
-They aren't going to give it to her this quickly, no way, no how.
-Including the above, are they gonna make her the first British diva champion as well in this time slot.
-Katie was dominating Mickie in the last few weeks.
-What does it accomplish, giving someone so fresh the belt. It doesnt say alot for the title or division.

Basically, it will either be Katie dominate, or an even match. Either way Mickie will win.

IMO, Katie Lea hasn't proven herself enough yet! I mean, who knows how good she COULD be one day...I mean, frig I remember how bad Gail Kim used to be when she first started, and NOW look at her!

THe point I'm trying to make is, Gail Kim's departure from WWE, was ultimately the comapny's fault, because they pushed her too fast, and too soon. I think Lea could make a very effective heel in the womens division, but she needs to take some bumps along the way to get the belt. Basically I don't want what happened to Gail, to happen to her. Just my thoughts....

Katie Lea is no Gail Kim though. When Gail made her debut she was green as grass. Lea has now been wrestling for what must be about 8 years. I remembere seeing her as Nikita in about 2002, and she didn't show any signs of being new to the sport then. I think the only problem she faces is her lack of personality. Just talking on the mic doesn't mean you engage an audience, certainly not with that odd ''English'' accent.

In what will probably be a decent match, I cant see any way Lea goes over here. She hasnt had near the push necessary to seem a legitimate threat, and there are no face divas for her to defend against of she DID win. SHould be a pretty good womens match, with Mickie retaining.

This match should be decent. Both are talented. But Katie Lea Burchill is way too green (in the WWE) to pick up the title. I know that she has been wrestling for quite a while now, but she's not over enough to be women's champion, yet. Sure I don't see her winning the title now, but she's definitely, in my opinion, a future women's champ. This should be a pretty even match, and like I said Mick James will probably go over.

I have to admit that I'm a sucker for Mickie James('s behind), but realistically can't see them stripping her of the belt and giving it to Katie Lea. The only exception would be something like NoFate suggested, wherein it's given back to Mickie in a reasonably quick amount of time.

I would, however, be extremely interested in the following turn of events:
- Burchill intervenes, costs Mickie the belt
- Kennedy/Burchill feud intensifies, with Mickie backing Kennedy
- More allusions to Cena/Mickie relationship, as well as signs of a Kennedy/Mickie fling resulting in...
- Tensions between Cena/Kennedy and an eventual PPV grudge match of some sort.

i would like a triple threat for the WWE title, buuuuut kennedy moved to smackdown so i dont think that will happen..and i also like Mickie James('s boobs) but i would like them to give the title to katie lee because mickie james has feuded with all these heels after this, except for SD so unless she changes brands then..

Well I do the The Franchise and TNAw00t one better and admit that i'm a sucker for Mickie's boobs and ass, both of which seem perfect. As I said earlier, I like Mickie, but there is something extremely satisfying about her losing. Maybe it's because many people think it's a given that she will retain. Also I'm a sucker for women with accents, so I'd love to see Katie Lea win this. Mickie will have no one to feud with, except for maybe the ECW divas, seeing how ECW has a merger going on with Raw. The only problem is there aren't enough decent wrestlers on ECW to take the Women's Championship. I say Katie Lea win the strap, seeing how she's already wrestled like eight years. Let's see how she actually handles being champ. Maybe set up a match between her and a returning Melina or Candice. Heck, maybe a face ECW diva willl be ready by then to challenge Lea for the title. Does anyone else here Extreme diva bells ringing?

Women's matches almost never catch my attention or my interest much...

...And this one is no different. Probably won't be a bad match, but in the end, how much is the Women's Title even worth these days anyway? Looks like they're trying, but its still not quite there yet.

I am pretty positive that Mickie James will be retaining here, as she should. Burchill is in no way ready to hold that title, as I don't think she's even had more than three or four matches on television.

Mickie should hold the title for a while longer, as she is the best thing to happen to it in a while, in my ever-so-humble-and-honest opinion.

I actually think Katie Lea might go over in this one. Mickie doesn't need the belt to be over with the crowd, as she is one of the most over divas going right now. And if Burchill helps his sister win, that gives them some heat, and they could be players in the near future in the WWE. So I am going with the upset on this one, Katie Lea defeats Mickie James.

James wins, but it could be a good match. I haven't seen enough of "Burchill" to have a true opinion of her either way. It's not going to be the typical bathroom break match that the Women's title has been, (granted the Triple Threat wasn't bad). I don't see this being a highly entertaining match at all, but hey, it's WWE Women's wrestling, what do you expect?

Being a Brit Myself i am gonna be totally biased and uncompromising towards everybody else but Katie Lea is gonna smoke Mickie and take her belt, but it wont be a clean win with Kennedy getting involved wih the best of intentions to get rid of Paul and ended up costing Mickie the title
