He had good stats and he is a good player but I really think that if he has the nickname of "King" he should be able to carry anyone to championship. I don't think Shaq is going to help the team win at all. Lebron is the leader of the team if he can't lead his team and rally his troops to victory then he is not as great of a basketball player as everyone hypes him up to be.

Odom I can agree with, Gasol however played pretty mediocre for the majority of the finals.
It draws the least amount of fans. Also the rule changes after the lock out really turned it off to me personally. And this is coming from someone who lives right by Hockeytown.
I'm just saying that if you give Kobe Cleveland's roster from last year (minus Lebron of course) there is no way he wins the title.

Seriously, hockey is one of if not the most enduring and physically trying sports in the world. I believe there was even a couple threads in the Stadium a while ago where most people agreed. It gets turned off because it is seen as a Canadian sport. Hell I believe X used that as a reason he hasn't watched much hockey before.
Give hockey the proper placement on television, games and shows dedicated to it on ESPN, guaranteed it would draw more fans.
It was on ESPN before the lockout and while it was more popular it still wasn't up to par with the other big four. I agree though drawing power isn't the biggest reason. The main reason is because the game has become a shell of its former self. Some of the rule changes are just flat out dumb.
And what does it being enduring and physically trying have to do with how great of a sport it is? Soccer and rugby are physically trying but no one in the US gives a shit about them.
My argument is that hockey is the most underrated sport of the Big 4. The physical demand of hockey is what makes it so great. Just like rugby and soccer are popular across the pond. But I guess it all depends on who you ask where it ranks. I personally find hockey to be better than basketball, more people don't. I find it underrated and great, they find it shit.
See I feel like Hockey gets way more credibility than the NBA. I used to work in a sports bar, and way more people would come in and ask for a hockey game to be turned on than a basketball game, but that's just my opinion. I just don't personally understand hockey, I think it's a lot of fun to go to a hockey game, but I just don't really understand the rules, other than hit the puck into the net. It's not the NBA's fault that the people with the NHL signed an exclusive deal to VS., the dumbest idea ever.
EDIT: I like the Bulls.
