The draft sucks this year. The only thing I'm interested in are the big trades (if any of them happen), and where Ricky Rubio ends up, as I think he's going to be tremendous.

You must be ecstatic though Becker about Richard Jefferson going to San Antonio, huh? That move alone makes them next year's favorite in the West, in my opinion, because outside of Boston when their healthy, there's not a team with a better starting line-up. And since LA is losing either Ariza or Odom (or maybe even both, which would make me laugh my ass off), San Antonio is now the team to beat in the West.

Ricky Rubio overrated? Yeah right. Will be a very very good NBA player and I cant see him falling much further than 4th to Sacramento. Only reason this will happen is because he doesnt want to play in Memphis, and then whether the Thunder are willing to pair him in the back court with Westbrook.

Looking forward to some potential trades, and also seeing where the Aussie sensation Patrick Mills ends up.

Of course he has much to learn he is only 18. But he has done a good job running his team in Spain and also does pretty well running the spanish national team. Does he have things to work on? For sure, but then so does everyone in the draft calss. Will be a very good NBA player.

Perhaps different media coverage of him in Australia that I have caught than what there is in the US.

The only two players I'm interested in seeing drafted this year, are Griffin and Thabeet. Everyone else is way over-rated by some teams and analysts, and will go much higher than they should. Like the NFL, you need to look at the competition they faced, and they're not. Curry will go in the top 5, and it's a shame. He's a good player, but he'll be forgotten quicker than JJ Redick or Darko Milicic. Rubio to the Knicks is the only other one I can think of, because they were talking about this when D'Antoni got the coaching job...

I think I would take Courney Lee over Carter right now. But my point was that I think the Nets could've made this exact same deal with someone else other than Anderson in the package, which is why I feel this was such a big mistake on their part.
