Nash Hurt?

The Man They Call WMD

Check Out My Spoiler Page
- After Triple H decked Kevin Nash with a sledgehammer in the main event at Night of Champions, Michael Cole, who had lost his voice, was seen writing something on a piece of paper and showing it to Jerry Lawler. Lawler then showed the paper to members of the WWE crew who then ran to the backstage area.

After the main event, Nash stayed on the floor until someone came from the back to tend to him. The "X" symbol was thrown up and other officials came to check on Nash, even Jerry Lawler. Nash finally staggered to his feet and was helped to the back by officials.

Thats being reported from another web site. I hope it's not true, because I love having Nash involved. However it's hard to say I would be surprised if he was hurt. If he is hurt, I think you cant keep involving him in storylines. He is to injury prone and just not reliable then.

To me, it just seems like they were selling the sledgehammer shot. How funny would it have looked if no one tended to him and he just layed there. This story does intrigue me though. The whole Cole thing makes everything seem real, however, it wouldn't be the first time the WWE tried to get the IWC rilled up over something that was just storyline. I really don't see how Nash could have been injured unless Triple H really decked his ass with the sledgehammer. It smells fishy, but I'll until tonight before I believe any of it.

Keep in mind that we're still not supposed to really know if Nash works for the company or not. I'm almost positive that this was just a way to sell the hammer shot and build the storyline even further.

How can you not think Nash is hurt? It's not like it hasn't happened to him before when he was involved in a major storyline in the WWE. Case in point, the NWO angle when he got hurt.

yeah you also have to remember he was wrestling full time with company when that happened. Right now he hasn't wrestled any matches for them so how could he honestly be hurt. If he was legit hurt they would have took him out the storyline a long time ago. It makes no sense as to how he got hurt, he hasn't done anything to say that he's actually hurt

You DO realize you're talking about a guy who once tore a muscle in his leg WALKING ACROSS THE RING, correct?

Doesn't really matter all that much. If there's something larger on the horizon (my $ is on a Vince-led faction with Truth, Miz, Nash & a couple of others to fill out a 5-man team for SS), Nash won't be one of the principal in-ring guys. He'll be the enforcer and will have very limited physical interaction. They KNOW how brittle he is, especially at this point in his career. That said, I hope he's OK.

Really? You are talking about the IWC as if you're not joining the crowd by talking about the match on the Net? Anyways If the "X" was shown than he was hurt. If you do not know about the X than why are any of you posting a comment...

I would assume since I'm the only poster who mentioned the IWC you were talking to me. I said it wouldn't be the first time the WWE has tried to rile up the IWC. How is that implying I'm not apart of the interent wrestling community? Anyways, the X being real hardly holds any credibility anymore. As repoted earlier, just like I posted, Nash, Jerry and whoever else was involved was just selling the sledgehammer shot which makes a lot of sense. He isn't injured. He's fine.

...It appears these reports are false. From talking to people backstage at Night Of Champions, Nash was selling the sledgehammer shot he got from Triple H.
See that?

Relax, gang, everybody knows Nash has a film to shoot for the next month. He'll pop up every so often 'till SS. JBShakes got it spot on, it's CONspiracy (Miz/Truth/Nash/ADR & somebody like Brodus, being led down by "Mr. Future Endeavor" and Vinnie Mac vs. The Fab Five (Rock/Cena/Punk/HHH/Morrison). The 'E' can afford to do this 'cause 1) the midcard is starting to tear it up, 2) Cena will drop the title before then, so the WWE & World titles will still both be defended by fresh faces (Dolphie Z, anyone?) and 3) Punk/HHH have to join forces because they now have common enemies: Every member of CONspiracy. HHH uses his 'favor' card to bring in the Rock, and we've already heard what he thinks of Cena lately. Nash has been getting the rust of in the indies, so he'll be fine (and they'll keep it limited) when he does step into the ring for his match.

When hasn't Nash been hurt in the past 10 years?

I'm pretty sure while in TNA he was wrestling with a staph infection, with the fluid draining bag on.

Nash is filming another movie (I don't know how Nash, Austin, or Rock get roles in movies because they all stink) and due to the production time for the movie he's off WWE TV for now

If Nash is legitimately hurt, then I wish him the best and hope for a quick recovery. That being said, I'm glad it would keep him offscreen. I would never wish anything painful upon anyone, but he was doing a rather bad job with the Punk angle. If and when he returns I hope he keeps it on a promo only basis due to him being so injury prone. He can barely move in the ring anymore. Imagine if the match against Punk had still happened. This injury could have been far worse. Get well soon, Nash, and stay out of the ring.
