Name your A+, B+, C+ players.

I'm going to grade the superstars on the current roster that I feel are an A+ to C+.

A+:
John Cena, Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Triple H, Undertaker, The Rock

A:
Randy Orton, Batista, Daniel Bryan

A-:
Sheamus, Kane, Big Show

B+:
Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Mark Henry, Dean Ambrose, AJ LeeLee

B:
Cesaro, Cody Rhodes, Rey Mysterio, Christian

B-:
Big E, Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins, Goldust, The Miz, Ryback, Titus O'Neil, The Usos

C+:
Bad News Barrett, Curtis Axel, Damien Sandow, Luke Harper, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston

There's no arguing that Cena is A+ but wow, he is the only one in that section that is working full time. I realize I may have been too generous with some people but I also took into consideration their legacy. (for example Kane and Big Show being in the A's

Do you agree with this list? What does yours look like. Please share :)

I think that's pretty accurate. I think Cesaro will be moving up to a B+ in the very near future, and I'd put Kingston as a B-, as well as Titus O'Neil being a C

But other than that it's pretty much what I would go for. It's worrying for WWE that there aren't many A+ level wrestlers on their roster at the moment, but the good thing is there is a lot of potential for guys like Wyatt, Cesaro, Reigns etc to push on if given the chance

I'd put Seth Rollins up to B+, since Ambrose and Reigns are up that high. The guy is the most well rounded talent in that group. Besides that, I agree with this list.

A++: John Cena (The Cornerstone of the company, Hogan, Austin, Cena)

A+: Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, The Rock (Household names, instant sales)

A:CM Punk, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan (Main eventers, workhorses, invaluable)

A-:HHH, Batista (Headliners, but not a necessity to the company)

B+: Roman Reigns, Cesaro, Sheamus, Bray Wyatt, Cody Rhodes, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins (The future)

B: Big Show, Mark Henry, Kane (Proven veterans)

C+: Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Del Rio

C: Ryback, The Miz, Bad News Barrett

C-: Rey Mysterio, Christian, Kofi Kingston, Big E, Fandango

D: Goldust, Curtis Axel, The Usos, Damien Sandow, Luke Harper, Titus O'Neil

Hey everyone, I've been a forum reader for a while now in my down time, and I thought this was a great topic to get my feet wet.
I'm speaking in terms of my own personal enjoyment of all things pro wrestling

A+: HHH, Cena, Taker, Heyman, Bryan. I know Bryan has been a divisive issue (to say the least) but I just haven't cared this much about a character since Angle was challenging Cena for the belt

A: Batista, Orton, Dean Ambrose, Uso's, Brock Lesnar, Bray Wyatt. Kane

B+: Reigns, Rollins, Harper, Show, Sheamus, RVD(former A+) Christian, Cesaro(B++++), Zeb, Rhodes, Goldust

B: Ziggler, Big E(so far), Bad News Barrett(out of mostly potential), Adam Rose, Sami Zayn, Bo Dallas.

To be honest I'd consider the rest of the roster C+ at least with the potential to climb with strong booking (emphasis on Fandago and Kingston). I love what's going on and Monday has been the highlight of my week for years

Hats off to the OP for a new thread around here that I haven't seen in a long time.
This list is hard to write down because there are so many things that go into factoring who makes it higher than others. Like wrestling skills, experience, mic skills, something new to watch, etc ..

That being said, if we are to stick the the current roster of WWE (we aren't talking about TNA right?)

A+: Undertaker, John Cena, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar
A: Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Triple H
A-: Cody Rhodes, Christian, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler (Maybe Batista), Kofi Kingston, Kane, Big Show
B+: Bad News Barret, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt
B: Curtis Axel, Jack Swagger, Rey Mysterio, Damian Sandow

I think any below this catagory aren't that good. I'm sure im not remembering some people that should be on this list. Here are people I just don't like and/or aren't good in my opinion:

Sin Cara (too many botches)
Fandango (HATE his gimmick)
Santino Marella (made the IC championship a joke)
Jinder Mahal (way to represent India, he is a joke)
Heath Slater (no comment)
The Great Khali (LOL)

Wrestlers who HAVEN'T made both lists that need to be mentioned:

Evan Bourne: We don't see him enough but he is so talented
Drew McIntyre: "The Chosen One" backstage politics screwed him over, or else he'd be up there with Cody rhodes
Justin Gabriel: Reminds me of Christopher Daniels so much (for those who know who Daniels is, you know what i mean) i wish he got a push

This is pretty much the way I'd break it down:

A: John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Batista
B: The Shield, Bray Wyatt, Sheamus, Cesaro, Langston, AJ
C: Ziggler, Wyatt Family, Rhodes, Big Show, Goldust, Del Rio, Usos, Henry, Kane, The Bellas, Christian, Ryback, Kingston, Miz, Misterio, Swagger
D: Brodus Clay, Santino, Fandango, 3MB, Axel, Sandow, O'Neil, Young, Truth, Sin Cara
F: Khali, JTG, Gabriel, Kidd, Los Matadores, Ryder

I won't go into who is a A- Vs. B+ though I'd say if you go left to right, you're pretty close to how they'd rank. Right now, it's pretty tough to argue that Bryan is not an A player -- he's popular, he puts on a good show, his merchandise is a hot seller, and he's been one of the lynchpins of most of the PPVs since SummerSlam.

The B list are the people who will likely see good pushes, do good work, and get good heat/pops.

The C list are the backbone -- they are the probably unlikely to move up much, some may get their runs to help round out a main event on a lesser PPV, but that's about it.

The D list are people who I think are largely just your curtain jerkers or comedy acts. It's kind of sad, but this is where I think Sandow is for now.

The F list are just pathetic. They've got no chance of a push, no chance of moving up, and they don't even really fill out the cards. Most likely to get axed.

A+: Cena, Rock, Lesnar, Undertaker

Experienced main eventers, top attraction in the company.

A: HHH, CM Punk, Bryan, Orton, Batista, Sheamus

Established main eventers. Almost everytime in high profile programs.

B+: Wyatt, Reigns, Ambrose, Rollins, Jericho, RVD, Kane, ADR, Big Show, Cesaro

Uprising future and former main eventers.

B: Big E, Harper, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Henry, Rhodes, Goldust, Kofi, Christian

Upper midcard. Good amount of TV time and spots.

C+: Rowan, Miz, Ziggler, Sin Cara, Barrett, Mysterio, Titus

Solid midcarders with no future main event spots (Rowan has main event spots now with the Wyatt Family, but after that he will go nowhere, IMO).

C: Swagger, Sandow, Ryback, Axel, Truth, Young, Khali, Fandango

Low midcarders filling the midcard titles scene.

D+: Santino, Ryder, Gabriel, Slater, McIntyre, Mahal, Diego, Fernando, Woods, Brodus, Tensai

Jobbers occasionally showing on TV.

D: Yoshi, JTG, Hawkins, Camacho

Dark Jobbers.

A+ <The Undertaker> <CM PUNK>

A <John Cena> <Stephanie MacMahon>

A - <Daniel Bryan> <Paul Hayman> < Randy Orton > <Chris Jericho>

B + <Sheamus> <Bray Wyatt> <Cesaro> < Brock Lesner > <The Shield> <Natalya>

(Bray Wyatt, Cesaro and Dean Ambrose are all incredible in very different ways and in my opinion, will soon be at the top with Daniel Bryan and Cena/Orton)

B <HHH> < Dolphins Ziggler> <Alberto Del Rio> <Kofi Kingston> <Kane> <Mark Henry> <JBL>

<The Big Show> <Christian> <Rey Mysterio> <Golddust and Cody>

B- <Jack Swagger> <Sandow> <AJ Lee> <Michael Cole> <Miz>

WWE IS FLUSH WITH BORING B LEVEL PERFORMERS

I don't care about the tag teams, Batista isn't worthy of an F - & I wish WWE would put Wade Barrett where he belongs, hovering up to that B+ area. But he is not on this list due to very little activity. Fandango sucks. He is green, stiff and a liability. Tyson Kidd should have been pushed harder. I could go on and on... I will. New Age Outlaws... Joke. Big E.... Joke

Being a wrestling fan for over 20 years and a trainer for 3 years I think the list is accurate but I'm going to make some changes.

Rules - Part Timers (Brock, etc) are not put on the list. Full timers are the only ones who should be on the list.

With that, lets get to the ratings

A - John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Usos

B - Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Sheamus, Christian, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, Cesaro, Jack Swagger

C - Kane, Big Show, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Eric Rowan, Kofi Kingston

F - Wade Barrett, Rey Mysterio

While the list is not complete you can see the direction I'm going. I think Cena and Bryan are the faces of the WWE. The Usos should be up there too with the title win they just got.

A lot of the C members are almost waiting to retire or about to get released. I don't think Miz is actually that good of a wrestler, but he is excellent on the mic. Rowan would be higher if he wasn't an oaf. He stumbles around in the ring, can't seem to get his footing on right or anything.

The F's are people who need gimmick changes or to stay away. Barrett's jokes now are stale, and have almost no meaning. Mysterio is injury prone.

"You may not be an A, but you, are a B+." Who else loves that line?

A+: John Cena. Face of the company. Huge talent and a massive draw. He is helping carrying the company and is thus in his own elite level.

A: Undertaker, Triple H, Brock Lesnar. Hugely talented guys who have had impressive careers. World Titles, 5-star matches and as well as being big draws for the company which puts them way above the majority.

A- : Randy Orton, Punk, Jericho, Batista. Proven superstars with a lot of ability. Many World Championships and have been top guys for a long period of time.

B+: Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Big Show, Rey Mysterio. Just below the top guys but are talented nonetheless. Bryan and Sheamus both have potential to become, what I would describe, "A's".

B: Reigns, Rollins, Ambrose, Christian, Ziggler

B- : Bray Wyatt, Del Rio, Henry, The Miz, Cesaro.

C+ Barrett, Swagger, Cody Rhodes, Big E.

I've looked at the overall picture a bit more but I'd say that is about right. Being a former World Champ puts you up a level in my eyes and many of these wrestlers will go on to win their first World Title. I'm sure The Shield guys will all become top superstars and draws but that is for the future.

I more or less agree with OP but Orton is absolutely A+ despite being in a bit of a career lull right now. He's a 13-year vet for WWE, arguably their finest in-ring performer, is a physical specimen, and is fairly good on the mic. I'm not sure how much merch he's selling right now, but in the past he's regularly been #2 behind Cena.

Hands-down an A+, has been since the late 2000s and will continue to be for many years.

Well I love the idea of this thread!! Hats off. Secondly I am going to do it a little different. Bascially I'm going to add an A,B & C section plus a legends/part timers section. I feel at this moment if we are to look towards the future we need to look at the up and coming wrestlers. Also I will put a list of talent I would push and release.

"A" Players: WWE World Heavyweight Title Tier
-----------------------------------------------
Batista
Daniel Bryan
John Cena
Randy Orton
Sheamu
s: Ideally I would turn him heel and push him back up to the top tier.

Legends/Part Timers: Seasoned vets who have been around the block a few times.
---------------------
Alberto Del Rio- A really talented performer. Could make the case for a great IC Champion in my opinion.
Big Show
Brock Lesnar
Christian
Goldust
Kane
Mark Henry
Rey Mysterio
Triple H
Undertaker
The New Age Outlaws

"B" Players: WWE IC Championship Tier
---------------------------------------
Bray Wyatt w/ The Wyatts
Cesaro: Is going to be going solo soon. Could make for a great IC Champion.
Dean Ambrose
Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins
Usos

"C" Players: WWE US Championship Tier
---------------------------------------
Alexander Rusev: For now he is in C but I have a huge feeling he is going to be pushed to the moon.
BIG E: Not quite there yet. Huge potential star.
Cody Rhodes: I expect big things for Cody in the new year.
Damien Sandow
Dolph Ziggler
Fandango
Jack Swagger
Kofi Kingston
The Miz
Ryback
Titus O'Neal

"D" Players
--------------
Brodus Clay
Darren Young
Justin Gabriel
Santino Marella
Sin Cara
Tyson Kidd
Zack Ryder
Los Matadores
3MB

NXT Up & Comers
------------------
The Ascension
Adrian Neville
Bo Dallas
Sami Zayn

Released
-----------
Curt Hawkins
David Otunga
Evan Bourne
Ezekiel Jackson
Great Khali
JTG
Yoshi Tatsu

A+ John Cena, Undertaker, HHH, The Rock
A Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Brock Lesner
A- Sheamus, AJ Lee
B+ Cm Punk, Bray Wyatt, The Shield, Cesaro, Mysterio
B Christian, Ziggler, Rhodes (both), Henry, Big Show
Could do w/out Ryback, Mizz, Big E, Sandow, Barrett, Swagger

Mysterio is so high because he still sells with certain cities/audiences

Miss is a failure - they tried that experiment but he's below average on Mic and in ring and CM Punk is not even close to an A player - has decent matches but terrible with the fans and average at best on the mic.
