I'd think you'd want to rid yourself of Halladay TM. You guys aren't going to be winning anything anytime soon, if I were you I'd be begging the Jays to trade him. He'd net some serious prospects. Grade A stuff. You guys need to rebuild, desperately.

You probably had your eyes closed for the first couple months of the season. Blue jays lost 4 of their 5 starting pitches, even lost Halladay for a couple starts. Without that destruction of our starting 5, we would still be 10-15 games above .500. What we need to do is get ride of Mr. $20 million dollars for .260.

Halladay is the face of the organization. He is what draws fans in. Walk around any major city in Canada, and you will see people wearing blue jays shirts, and there is always one name written on that back. Halladay. Look at game day numbers comparing Halladay starts to any other of the Blue Jays starters, and you will notice that people come to see Doc pitch. The man will always be an All Star when he is healthy for 5-7 more years. With Halladays abilities, and veteran presence, Blue Jays will be able to grow their own talent.

Losing Halladay is like losing your team's soul. Halladay on a healthy team without some of the lowly hitters that are there, equipped with their fresh talent like Lind, and backed up with an amazing bull pen is a play off contending team.

If Blue Jays wanted to do something, they would cut off the cancer known as Wells.

With Freedom here, we can restart the SFAC!
As former VP... please no
It's a shame his comeback will be overshadowed by mine.

Bad timing, not his fault.
Who are you i believe is the question

Because I said you aren't going to be winning anything anytime soon? You aren't. Are you actually crazy enough to think your Jays have a snowballs chance in hell at making the postseason with the Sox and Yankees in their division? Plus the Rays now too? Your Jays aren't going to be playing October baseball for a long fucking time TM.

And your point? Baseball isn't about attracting fans, it's about winning games. Nomar was the face of our franchise and one of the sole reasons people came to our park, we traded him off and what happened? We won a World Series.

How do you know he'll always be an All Star? I remember people saying that about Pedro.

A) Nomar was our team's soul. We were smart enough to trade him because we're in the business of winning, not placating our fans.

B) Play off contending team? :lmao: No. Sorry, not in the AL East. Not unless you get yourself some serious big-time hitters and pitchers. Ain't a fuckin chance in hell the Jays are making it to the postseason with the team they have now. Not with the Yankees, Sox and Rays all in the same division. Ain't happenin'.

I think you made the contradiction there when you said they had no chance and then talked about Tampa Bay. The team with a pay roll that was less than A-Rods dinner expenses. If Tampa Bay can win in the AL East, so can the Blue Jays.

How is that a contradiction? Did I say one word about payrolls? No, I did not.

Last time I checked Tampa Bay were the AL champions, and are a far superior team than the Blue Jays. It has dick to do with payroll.

Just stop talking TM. Stick to something you Canadians know, like hockey or maple syrup or some shit.

The guy in your sig is a possible rapist.

ESPN finally reported it today, though it's a year old claim, so who knows if it's true.

Probably about the time you mentioned we needed to get big hitters and pitchers to compete.

Do the Rays not have big hitters and pitchers? What the fuck are you talking about? Isn't Carlos Pena leading the AL in HRs? Oh yeah, he is.
X, I have lost all respect for you.

Not that it matters, just thought i'd inform you.
I might actually care if anyone gave a shit about you UP. Why do you feel the need to post in a place full of people who hate you?

Because my dad left when I was in the womb, and my mom beat me, and I was bullied at school, I need the attention to make myself feel oh-so important.

Otherwise, i'm just a scarred young-at-heart depression filled loser.

I never thought I would wish hell upon anyone, then I saw U.P. post in this thread.

And freedom, whoever you are, welcome back.

Right on Sign Guy, rockin' the Morrison avatar. Trust me, I'd TOTALLY be rocking it with you if I wasn't already in love with my Mr. Pink avatar.

Mr. Pink just makes every one of my posts look badass, does it not?

Don't be jealous because I'm rockin' the Buscemi and your rockin' a dead junkie.
