Most Unfortunate Botch in Wrestling History

Since it's already been said Owen's is a given no need for everyone to say it

Too many to narrow so, just list a few that haven't been said alreadu

well said already but - Sid Justice break his leg, that was pretty sickening.

Joey Mercury's getting his nose splattered across his face in the 4 Team Tag Championship ladder match at Armageddon 2006,

Mick Foley losing an ear - hmm that can't be good :P

Funny ones. hmmmm
everything Mike Adamle ever said? lol

can't think of any really funny botched moves that have't been said already.

Other than Brock Lesnar gracefully sailing through the air in a summersault splash only to land two feet short and nocking himself out

or

Shane McMahon vs Kurt Angle not sure what PPV (during the attitude era), Kurt tried 4 times to throw Shane through the glass paneling on the stage and it failed 3 times knocking shane out.

However, there's this little gem which makes me laugh my ass off every single time I watch it. It's only 12 seconds long, take 12 seconds of your time to watch it if you've never seen it. You'll be glad you did...

:lmao: Thank you for sharing my man!

Ok on a serious note, I think its been said that the accidents with Owen Hart, Droz and Sid are all very very unfortunate but I think the one with Vader punching Hansen's eye out is downright criminal.
This man was known for his carelessness with fellow superstar and this is just an example.
He even broke Foley's nose during a match in WCW circa 92.
Props to Orndoff for kicking his a$$.

Also, I'm very hesitant to watch the Hayabusa accident, sounds very tragic.

Going for something that hasn't been mentioned yet...

Brock Lesnar's failed SSP on Kurt Angle at WM 19. That would have been an AMAZING sight if he had landed it. Probably one of the most memorable finishes to a match in WWE history, and certainly would've been on every highlight reel. And who knows, if he lands that, maybe he doesn't quit the business a year later. It sounds crazy, but remember that he was absolutely devastated that he messed up the finish. He was CRYING in the ambulance after the show.

yeah i mean he had done it countless times before that in dark matches and on ovw if you havnt seen it look it up on youtube its quite a site it made me sad cause i had to read about it online at the time i didnt get to order the ppv so i was like OH SHIT LESNAR DID THE STAR PRESS FOR THE FINISH (i was reading it off wwe so they didnt mention the botch) and well nope he certainly did not do it

buuut since you said in wrestling history im gunna go with hayabusa botching the lionsault and ending his career i was watching a hayabusa dvd and that match came on and i was all into it not knowing it was the match he fucked up in since i cant read japanese and it startled me it was so ugly looking like i was like oh shit and jumped like a ******

if it HAS to be in wwe id say shawn michaels casket bump or eddie guerrero injuring himself his first wwe match

the most funniest botches boy there is so many vince falling into the ring kanes pyro not going off after he throws his arms down, batista attempting to batista bomb khali, khali trying to wrestle, ooooh and the special olympian that interupts shawn michaels vs stone cold at the kotr 96 or 97 lolllllll:lmao:

what?? stan hansen punched vaders eye out and vader was so nice and not careless in the ring he was only stiff when asked to be

Lita always scared me in the ring! Every damn MoonSault she did off the top turnbuckle looked awfully low and potentially disasterous! Which leads me to this as the worst actual injury I seen on WWE PPV... actually, it is a BOTCHED SPOTS NIGHTMARE:

New Years Revolution 2003 (DVD has 2004 on it, but I believe it is New Year's Revolution 2003, so I think I got the year right), check it out.. there were 3 matches where somone was really injured! Botched spots from fricking hell!

The match I remember the most was Trish Stratus Vs. Lita. I dig Lita because she is a cool chick that I would leave my current girlfriend for if she promised to be my girlfriend for 3 months, every string securely attached!

Not hating on Lita, but in this spot she jumps off the ring apron and does a flying body press on Trish. You can see Lita's ankle move awkwardly toward the right side I believe. The refs carried her away while she limped.

Watch this DVD, there are major injuries.. seems like a cursed night!

well i'll do a few just because they haven't been mentioned..

Cena broke his neck after a Batista Bomb (oh what a shame.. not)

Cena tore his peck off the bone vs orton

HHH tore his Quad (first time)

HHH blew his knee out, and it turned sideways! damn.

Vince tore BOTH his Quads at the same time getting into the ring at the rumble after Cena and Batista both "won" it.

Edge broke his neck.. dont remember who he was wrestling at the time..

Brock lesnar broke Hardcore Holly's neck on a botched Power bomb.

HBK hitting his back on the casket in a match with 'Taker, took him out for a long long time.

Foley falling threw the Hell in a Cell (that wasnt the botch) and the chair came down with him and smoked him in the head as he landed. that looked effin BRUTAL.

and then you could go on about almost every Diva's match on RAW... but i wont go there.

One word..... SHOCKMASTER! It was the most funniest botch in the world.

YES! Absolutely hilarious, and even without the fall what an idiot the Shockmaster looks in that storm trooper helmet lmao!

As for the most tragic- any career ending botch, as its a mans livelyhood being taken away from him, and especially a botch that results in permenant injury to the victim- e.g Hayabusa and Droz

And of course Owen....truly truly sad
