Most Dangerous Finishing Moves In Wrestling

Whats the most dangerous finishing move in wrestling today in your opinion ???

Personally i think the " Gringo - Killer " by homicide is the most dangerous seeing your being dropped on the back of your head while hanging upside down ... i honestly thought AJ Styles had broken his neck when he took it at the " Bound For Glory " PPV ( not 100% sure ) when he and Christopher Daniels took on LAX

I would say the "Warrior's Way" by Low Ki/Senshi. Imagine someone 200 pounds jumping from 5 feet with boots on right into your chest/stomach...ouch thats dangerous. Oh and the piledrive could do some real damage.

The Roll up of doom. I once killed a man trying to be like Santino. Luckily the SFAC protects me.

I think the Piledriver catagory of moves are pretty dangerous. You lose your strength, or you miscalculate your opponents position, and there can be serious consequences, just as Steve Austin.

I also think Piledriver-based maneuvers are the most dangerous, especially the Canadian Destroyer. A small miscalculation can lead to serious consequences. In my opinion, Austin would still be wrestling today had Owen (RIP) not botched that Piledriver.

Leg Drop. C'mon, no one got up from that.

Otherwise, Border Toss always looked like it would legit hurt.

If you're talking about moves still in use, then I would mention the powerbomb or variations thereof. If the one giving it miscalculates or slips or does it too fast, the recipient could easily come down too hard on the back of the head or the back of the neck.

any piledriver.i did it to my nephew on a couch(not with all my strength)and he hurt his back.it hurt for a while though since hes a fighter.and ya,stone cold would still be wrestling today if Owen Hart(R.I.P.)didnt botch that piledriver.

I meant to red rep you there. I really hope that you and your nephew are close in age, or you are a creep who beats up your little nephew.

Unprettier, end of discussion.

It wins every finisher competition that revolves around a positive aspect (i.e. Best, deadliest, most appealing to the eye, awesomest).

Basically any move where you land on your head or neck, such as a piledriver or the vertebreaker.

wat no lol dude im 12 hes 8.he can take alot of pain.he once fell off my bed when he was jumping, hit his head on a rocking chair, and got up like nothing happened.and the tombstone wasnt hard.trust me,he was fine, and he can take aot of pain.im not a creep who goes around hurting family,i just love my nephew, and we play around, and things can get outta hand.but i can see your concern and respect it.

Without fail it's 'The Worm'. I get chills just typing that.

Seriously though I'd say it's the Shooting Star press, if not done right it could cause injury.

If you want to just play around, fair enough, you can lift him up, spin him around and little things, but you are 12, do you think it's ok to tombstone and 8 year old?

Also you do realise that when they do the tombstone, they don't actually mean to have the wrestler on the receiving ends head to hit the ground either?

What I'm getting is that you think it's ok to drop an 8 year old on his head?

:disappointed:

no listen,i dont do it hard, most of the time his head wont even come close to the floor or bed or watever im doing.i'll just let him go.and like i said,he can take alot of pain.i no better then to just drop him full force.its just that the couch was so high i underestimated its height and his back hurt a bit.he was fine anyways.and look, this happens to him all the time, not by me,but by his brother who will always botch a move he tries to do.my other nephew lost a tooth when my nephew tried a move on him.and this is the first time ive ever hurt the kid.and like i said,i no wat can happen if i drop my nephew on his head, but i never do it,i never just drop and hope his head is high enough that he wont get hurt,i'll either let him go,or move him and set him up for another move and let him go(not during the move im saying before the move for fun.so he never gets hurt,i no wat im doing)before anything happens.so its just one little miscalculation i did cus i thought his head wouldnt be so low and the couch wouldnt be so high.i think he tried to get out,and do a reversal, but it was to late and i accidentally let him go.cus i never intended to hurt him,ive done it before, and he always lands on his shoulders so he wont get hurt,or i do it on something high so the impact wont even sting.and he told me it didnt hurt that much,he just felt like a wats it called a um a shock went through his back is all.so in the end,hes fine, and im fine.besides,i let him have some comfort food and let him do any wrestling move to me after that and let him rest.so i understand your concern, and respect it,but its just a one time thing that went wrong.

You don't know what you are doing. You risk his and your own life every time you dry a move that you see in wrestling on someone else. There is a reason why they are professional wrestlers. Stop it before someone gets hurt.

Agreed - I mean I almost broke my arm when me and my mate wrestled. Jumped up for a Fame Asser only to have him resist and push me up in the air. A four foot drop onto concrete landing on your ass with only your arms to stop you is a sharp wake up call.
Or being FU'd into a wall hurt like hell. That's when we decided to stop.
And doing it to someone that is 8 and 4 years your junior is wrong whatever way you look at it.

Back to the topic I think the Stinkface is the most dangerous move. Would you want a big ass man ramming his ass in your face?

I mean the Rikishi version of the move.

AGREED. of the 15 minutes of my life I have veiwed TNA, I saw him do the border toss. the first thing that popped in my head was "how is it humanly possible to do that move safely??"

Hey. At least with the Border Toss you have some control over how you land. The Gringo Killer, on the other hand, is just plain lethal.

Well if you're looking for the move that results in the most injuries and get's botched the most frequently... then I'm going to have to go for an arm drag.

In terms of which moves are out and out the most dangerous to have performed on you; Northern Lariet, Burning Hammer, Reverse Frankensteiner and anything else that brings you down on your head without controll of how you roll.

And for my joke answer; the finger poke of doom.
